Appearances can be deceiving

The life of a human is full of surprises and shock. Nobody knows when they will receive a surprise or shock. In case of surprise, we feel happy but when it's about to shock, it comes with great shock & hurt us badly and it becomes hard to forget about it. Most of the time we can realize that the shock we receive is not the result of a single day means it's a pre-planned one from earlier times. It is also a possible reason because of what we always prioritize our shock or unhappy moment most of the time while talking with others.

There is a proverb that "All that glitters is not gold". Each proverb has a story behind it and in real life, it gives us messages about it. The meaning of it is not to deceive to see the outside appearance of anything. It doesn't matter how much good looking from the outside, We should not judge by it. It is applicable to both products and humans. And today I am sharing an experience related to it.

It was the time when I was reading in class XII class and I was completing my study at one of my distant relative's houses. I was there from class VIII and they were very nice people to me as well as my parents also. And that was the reason I was finishing my study from there. I know my father was paying all the expenses including my rent fee. As they were nice to us. So all the financial matters were handled by them and I had no objection to it.

They didn't pay one of my coaching fees and I informed them about it. They replied to me saying that my father didn't give them money and that is the reason. And it continued for 2 months and then I realized that my father gave them money but they used it for their own use. They informed my father about it and they were transparent in this case. At that time I received a scholarship of 50$ because I was one of the top scorers on my board. I know it was not huge but it was not a little at that time. Before I took the money at home they started to plan what to do with. I didn't like their attitude because of how they can decide what to do with the money and they are not my parents also. I distributed the money among my mother, grandmother, and with them because I felt it was the best strategy for me. Although most of my money I gave them but they were not happy because I gave some of them to my mother and grandmother. They wanted all of it and at that time I was able to feel a little bit about their greedy motive.

Unfortunately, At that time my private tutor got a job and he need to shift from the place and for that reason, he could not continue teaching me. They didn't pay my tutor for the last month and I felt a little bit sad because he was the best teacher in my life. For 4 months I was reading with the teacher because they said it was hard to find a teacher of a science background and I believed them. At that time my father was giving them the full money and they were getting benefited from it. When I forced them then they appointed a teacher for me who was reading at a top university. So my father needs to pay 50$ each month for the teacher. But later I realized that that teacher was not able to make me understand well and it was hampering my study but the relationship between me and the teacher and once while we were discussing about finance he said he was receiving 35$ each month and he was from a nearby local university. I felt angry at that time because my distant relatives were deceiving me and my parents by saying lies. I changed the teacher because he wasn't able to make me understand my study. But my relatives didn't pay him the money also for the last 2 months. With the help of the best teacher in my life I contact a new teacher to teach me. In that case, I was handling the financial matter of my teacher because I didn't want him to face the same situation that happened with the last two teachers.

From that time I was able to see the different faces of my distant relatives. I used to talk less with them in the last some months. They tried to do mental torture by using their tongue but when they saw my neutral reaction of mine they didn't get the opportunity to move ahead. In my case, they were unable to do any mental harm because I was mentally strong and I could focus on my destination which helped me avoid their pressure. I lived in their house like there exists nobody in the last few months and they could realize that I actually don't care about them. On the last day of my exam, I sifted immediately from their house to my village. For them, I was there like the goose who gives golden eggs.

They were very nice and the best people in my parent's eyes but none of us expected them too greedy and they have done many wrong things which were beyond our imagination in the past. I think all of us get deceived by their nice talking and good behavior at the beginning.
