Destruction of my Curiosity

As humans, we want to know the unknown and see the unseen. It means curiosity is very natural for a human and it's a basic instinct of us. All invention and development are the results of curiosity. Take the example of the airplane. In the beginning, people were curious to know how a bird can fly. Then people also wanted to fly like a bird and started to make an effort to do that and little by little curiosity led to the invention of the airplane. Like this, all the inventions came from curiosity. By the way, all the curiosity doesn't bring good results also. Some curiosity brings negative results. An easy and practical example is iron 🤔. If you are curious to know how it feels when it becomes hot you need to touch and it will create a burning effect. Besides curiosity to play with fire can be very destructive also.

I am a human and I am also curious about many things and I faced trouble for it. I can remember I made factory data reset on my mother's mobile when I was a kid and that happened because I was curious what its function of it😅 . And at last, I hope you can guess what Mother has done to me.
I have had several experiences of trouble because of my curiosity and today, I am going to share one among those.

From my childhood times, I used to do several kinds of experiments on various things whenever I got the opportunity.
My curiosity took shape very destructive one. Let me share what happened.

It was the time when I was in class 5 as well as I can remember but I am not sure about it. At that time there was a popular drama where the hero get rid of problems because of his intelligence and in one of his episodes, he showed that using a magnifying glass he made a fire that scene caught my attention very much. But unfortunately, I am unable to remember the name of that drama.

I found a magnifying glass after several months from my grandfather. And my curiosity to know can I make fire or not triggered my mind. Many times I became unsuccessful but one time I became successful to see the spark of fire. First time I did it on paper. I started to feel like I was a scientist.

But to see the fire formation I tried it on a haystack. To be honest I didn't expect that fire could form there but I was wrong and that time I had not understood the consequences of it. Fire formed and the haystack started to burn. I tried to stop in the beginning but then I failed to control it because the haystack was dry. What could I do? I became afraid and escaped from the place and came to the house tried my best to act normal. One neighbor noticed the fire and started to come to our house and shouted "fire!! fire!!!".

And I am the only one who reacted first after hearing the news. I acted like I was shocked and hard to believe. After that, my uncle's and cousin tried their best to control the fire and minimize the loss. Many doubted me but I was strict on my decision. Nobody knows that I have done that but my mother somehow caught me approximately 2 days later. And I am not going to say what Mother did with me because you know what was the result as well as punishment 😅.

It was an incident of mine where my curiosity took a destructive shape. Fire is not a thing to play is the lesson I learned that day and many things can happen beyond my imagination which was another lesson for me.

I am laughing to remember thinking when I act like I was shocked to hear the news 😅. I was a little kid. How could I do good in acting at that time? Maybe I had good acting skills 🤣.

Lol... That usage of magnifying glass to start a fire is also something I have seen in a Crime TVshow. MacGyver is the name of the show and your post just made me wonder why I never gave that a try 😂😂. It's probably because I just don't like anything that involves fire. Haha.

Wow... That turned out really weird for you. I couldn't hold my laughter when you gave us hint that you got a well deserved punishment after getting caught my your Mum. Haha.

MacGyver

Yes, the show's name was MacGyber. I forgot the name.

Hehe. Yes, For that big crime, the punishment wasn't an easy one and I am just trying to save my reputation by not saying it here🤣🤣.

As for the punishment, I'm sure you got enough 😂😂😂. Mum can be very creative when disciplining their kids. Haha

I know your mother would have beaten the hell out of you or even made you not to eat as punishment? 😃😃 Children do not know anything until their curiosity has led them to destroy things. Then, they will learn their lessons.

Is it necessary to say the thing? I am just trying to save my reputation by not saying it😂😂.

I was a kid and who knew that a simple thing could take a destructive shape and I would not be able to control it. But I learned a good lesson that day.

Curiosity is the basis of all inventions like you said, if people were just reluctant and never tried to know certain things, a lot wouldn't have been created today.

How come I didn't know about that discovery? please give me some guide so that I can try it out too😁😁

I can't count the number of times I scattered people's phones in the name of trying to know the functions of some features.., though I always escape at the end because some of them don't really know phone that much, so after turning things upside down, I just frame up lies to cover things up and they always believe me heheh🤣🤣

Are you wanna make fire like me. I won't show. Who knows if you do it to check the reality and burn everything. It's better stay in safe side.

I think that tricks don't work at the current time because everyone became smart 😅.

LoL.. so you don't want to share the knowledge with me? What if I find myself in a situation where it's needed? 😁🤣

Thank God you know, almost every format for tricks are known now

Ask me then if you come back alive 🤣🤣. I will share that time 😃..

The factory settings got me😂😂.

The one I did was changing my phones language in a bid to know how it'll look like, and for sure, I saw the new format but couldn't return it back to English 😂

The factory settings got me😂😂.

I have done it to my mother's mobile and I get trapped. My mother was in sleep when I have done it. I went to an expert brother for the solution but nothing was remained to do🤣.

well I used to be a very mischievous lad while growing up. I remember burning out house net with my little experiment using a lighter and a spray. I can't remember if I was flogged but I knew I was uneasy throughout that day.

P.s my dad just changed the net

(I certainly would have gotten the end of his stick)

Your little experiment turned into a destructive one. I was a decent type from my childhood but little experiment goes wrong in my case.

Whatever, we are still alive and it's enough for now😅.

Some kind of curiosities can lead to a catastrophic results. Whatever the situation is, lesson is always learned.

Haha, so you all acted innocent 😀😀😀😀, curiosity has good and bad sides just as you've started, many inventions today are all results of curiosity and you too we're curious but it ended badly.

I popped in from #dreemport #dreemerforlife.

Hehe. I was innocent. Whatever done wasn't my intention 🙂.

I was a kid and never expected the situation could go so worse. The power of fire was almost beyond my imagination 🤔. Little think created big issue that day.

Haha, you are quite the experimental one. It's just good someone saw it and the fire didn't grow big. I must say you are a good actor that no one (except your mom) caught you were the culprit, lol!

You really got into trouble from being a curious child...well let's just say we all have been there one way or the other but it's this things that helps us experience and learn at least now you can't touch a hot iron or toy with mom's phone. Beautiful post 😍🦋

Hehe. I wasn't ready to face the trouble at that time and who knows that a little fire spark could go out of my control. The situation was beyond my imagination and the accident happened. By the way, it's my good luck that nothing serious happened at the last.

😂 haha curiosity will kill us oo. But indeed, if people weren’t curious a lot of things wouldn’t be invented.

Your curiosity led to something else. After lighting up the fire and you didn't know what to do, you just went to a corner, acting all innocent.
I'm just happy your mum found out the truth and punished you, probably some whacks 😂😂😂.

It's always easy to start a fire 🔥 but putting it off......... Hmmmmm 😔.

I was actually innocent and I have done nothing except experiment🤣🤣. I think my mother should appreciate my experiment but she did the opposite thing.

By the way, thanks to my acting skill. I think if Mother knew it on the first day then I might not be alive now🤣🤣

🤣🤣that was pretty dangerous Mr scientists but also cool if you could have put it out. The part where you mentioned curiosity about a hot iron…I remember when I was a kid after my sister finish boiling water and put off the stove I wanted to check how hot it was and ended up hurting myself 🤦🏾‍♀️🤣.

Hehe. It was not intentional and the result was beyond my imagination. That incident gave me a great lesson and from that time I always try to be more careful whenever I tried to do some experiment.

Curiosity indeed is the mother of all inventions
You're indeed a scientist, you just need to light up another place 😂😂

That was a hell of an experience man... Curiosity is indeed great regardless

If there exist possibilities there would be risk also but I was unable to understand it when I was a kid and that brought a destructive result in my case. By the way, finally, the experiment was successful even though it cost a good price😂😂.

I also have done something that could also potentially cause a fire but luckily did not turn out that way. Anyways good thing that no one was hurt.

Fire is dangerous to play with it and I think our past experiences related to fire help us to remain conscious. Fire is not a thing to play.
