My first job or not 🤔.

A job is one of the most difficult tasks to find in our country. And I think it's a very natural thing for an overpopulated and poor country. The corruption in our country. So arranging an official job is not so easy. Summit to have good references and some need to pay bribes to get a job in most cases. Most people don't have the references and the amount of money for bribes. As a result, many people are getting involved in corruption and it become a cyclic system and overall it's hampering the development of our country.

made by me using canva

Still, I am an undergraduate student and I don't have any experience of any official job. In my life, I got some opportunities to do a job for the references of my relatives even if I am an undergraduate student. I was interested in doing a few of them to be a self-dependent person and help my family financially but my parents always insisted me to stay focused on studying and perform better in my academic career.

I was interested to be a self-dependent person and I was determined after being admitted to the university. So the only thing I could do was teaching. Maybe you started to think that I started this job in school but it's not true. Teaching means private home tutor 🙂. I know many people don't consider it as a job. In fact also thought about it like the same. Unfortunately, I have done only that thing in my entire life. So I was confused about it and googled it & I was able to know that private tutoring is also considered as a job. So I am here to share my first job experience.

For reading in one of the top universities in our country I didn't face huge difficulties in finding the tuition. The first tuition of mine was an intermediate (XI-XII class) student of science. It was not my plan to start my tuition of a higher school student at the first time. It was not because I had doubts about myself and my teaching, it was for my inexperience and it was for the first time I was going to teach someone else. I was a little bit nervous about it. The decided salary was approximately 60$ at that time it was enough money for me to spend a whole month.

On the first day, everything was very normal with the student and I was very comfortable with my student but I felt a little bit nervous while I talked with the guardian which I was able to overcome in the first day because of the friendly behavior.

It was a very comfortable task for me because I needed to go only 3 days in week. Besides all the things I needed to teach her were in my mind very well and I didn't need to train myself before teaching her. I tried to do my best to educate my student. Fortunately, I was able to be one of the best teachers in her eyes according to her words. She was brilliant and she made a good result on the HSC exam also and currently, she is reading at a good University. Her feedback was inspirational for me because it was my first tuition. Whatever at the end I was earning the salary which was enough for me.

That tuition made me self-dependent and confident. It also helped me to understand the true meaning of responsibility. Although I was punctual from the very beginning time, I felt the tuition helped me to maintain it properly. For various kinds of reasons, I was able to improve my time management also. All the lesson I learned from there is very precious.

Still, now I am doing tuitions and I have plans for doing it till I manage a job related to my career. And in the case of doing the first tuition is impossible because I feel I have nothing to teach my first student in academic cases 😅.

I wanted to be self-dependent and maybe it's because I was able to understand my responsibilities from that time and I feel it was good for me.

Someone still don't consider it as a job specially in our country. But I feel it's an honorable one and help to get financial support until we find a more suitable Job based on our academic career.

I tried tutoring private school kids after senior high school. Didn't work out well for me due to my impatience at the time 😅

I was good making understanding others when it came to study. I realized it earlier but my parents didn't allow me to do it earlier time thinking that it may harm my study.
But it's true that it needs good patience which I have as a by born nature. Maybe I am the lucky one.
Thnks for giving your time to read.

That is amazing! You are truly responsible and it's good that you did a great job tutoring. I hadn't even done any job during summer vacations when I was still in school.

Oh, I thought you're still 20 or something when you mentioned you're still in the Uni.😁 (My bad, my mind tricked me, maybe because I finished my bachelor's degree from the university just before I turned 20.)

How it can be possible to finish a bachelor's degree before 20🤔. In our education system, at least 23+ years are needed to complete graduation if anyone starts to go to school from the 5-year-old.

That is because our education system then wasn't K-12. So 6 yrs in primary, 4 years in secondary and I took a 4-yr course in the Uni. K-12 started around 2012.

This is really good. And valuable. A private tutor or home tutor is just as valuable because they impact knowledge. I don’t look down on any of them. As long as they have knowledge and people who learn from them, they are assets. And you’re an asset. Someone was able to pass because of you.

You are praising me too much. I am feeling a little bit shy about it now🤗🤗.
I think every human is an asset and everyone has some kind of talent and we just need to help them to bring their best outcome.
I also feel good someone gets benefits for the knowledge I gave them and I am also glad to receive their good behavior and salary in return.

I think we learn something new from each thing if we notice it carefully. I also learned some from my first job and I think everyone learns something new for their first job.

Teaching is good! I think you could be a good teacher if you take it professionally 😄 because you have high knowledge which is in need to teach someone. Hope to you can find a job that you would love to do or you can also start a business as per your desire.

I am very positive about it but till now it's not my plan to take it professionally although it's one of the most honorable professions. I want to be a researcher for the current time and I will think about other things later.
Thank you for giving your precious time and reading with patience.

Getting a job is not the problem, it's getting a job that is not bent on extorting you or leaving you worse off than you started is where the problem lies.
The minimum wage just gives employers such audacity to exploit even more at the detriment of the citizens of it's country.
If I keep up, I might just keep ranting at the many negatives.
Home tutoring is a job and a beautiful one at that. Well done. The important thing is to keep getting better by learning in the field and researching - I know that has helped me a lot.

Yes, Home tutoring is a beautiful one and help to stay connected with study and it's very helpful for research purpose also.
I think it can be a temporary solution for unemployed persons till they get a job.

Home schooling is one job that teaches a lot. There was a time that I was tutoring some kids. I didn't understand their language and I was supposed to teach them English language. I can remember using so much gestures and demonstration just so that they can understand😅. It paid off in the end.

Finding a job is a very difficult one in an overpopulated county and for that reason, many people are still unemployed. In that case, tuition can be a temporary solution.

Teaching is such a beautiful profession, it helps your brain to be sharp😁😁, helps you to be well-mannered and act responsibly, more you have the privilege to impart knowledge to others and that's a beautiful thing.

It's indeed helpful to keep the brain sharp and I can feel it also. In the case of being well-mannered and responsible, I had both things from the earlier time🤗🤗.
