WEDNESDAY WALK FROM MY WORKING SITE AND MY LAST 15 DAYS ON THIS ROUTE

Hello Hivers, It's my first time putting up my walking story in this community. Hoping to give you an interesting walk today. In this walk, I will bring you to my daily route from my working site going home, and my short story on this street.

It's been three years of taking on this street from the place I live to my working place. A lot of moments and memories pop up in my head earlier while taking this route, Memories with my colleagues, and unforgettable moments that happened, knowing that it's my last 15 days working around this place since we start packing up for a new project and move out of this area.

This place witnesses my development in my 3 years working on this Project Site. From an innocent and less experienced Engineer in this field of construction into a wise and Enthusiast one. It also witnesses some of my flaws like being late sometimes, running out, and hurrying up to catch time for work. Yes, I have these moments, and it made me laugh to think about those stupid actions I made 😅.

This is the Street I always walked on. It is just in front of our project site and one of the malls in Mandaue Cebu where I ride a bus going home, Beside it is two wide vacant lots where one of them becomes a venue for big events here in Cebu like conventions, concerts, etc. Having this kind of environment outside the project site lessens some of the stress we got from work. It helps a lot in our psychological aspects where we can breathe freely from the pressure at work. I think these trees and grass always hear out our concerns and problems whenever we pass by on this road 😅. On the other vacant area is a mini forest where a lot of suspicious things happened 😅, I just observe that when we pass by on this street a lot of people come in and out on this narrow pathway going to the forest even though it is a vacant place.

" Meet my Friend "

Along the way, I meet this Black doggie who approaches me and give a bright look in his eyes. This always comes at me when I pass by on this road. I think he familiarize my face already for 3 years. And became my new friend in this area.

A few minutes walk, Im in the location of the homeless family who lives on that street for how many years. They were already in this street living in that house made of tarpaulins and bluesack even at the time I just starting my work here. Sometimes I give them some food for them to eat. They are so pitiful living in that situation, hoping someone will help people like this and give them a proper location to live.

After Crossing the road, I stop first in Parkmall. A nearby mall in my workplace and take some rest in their mini garden. Few visitors are in the gardens so I take some photos.

Then I go to the market inside the mall to buy some fruits and vegetables, I almost forgot we don't have already vegetables and fruits in the fridge.

After buying, it was time for me to go home but at the exit of the market I saw some familiar miniature and it turns out it is a housing project that I constructed before when I started my journey as Engineer. I stop a few minutes to ask the agent in charge what the status of the project was, Im was just curious if the project is already done.

This is the bus stop where my walk from the working site ended. It is 15 minutes walk in total and from here I will ride a bus going home.

In 15 days, I will miss this kind of routine from my working place, But we need to move on and adjust to our new location to keep ourselves on track toward our target destination.
