Wow HIVE almost touched $1 this morning. It has since come back a bit but the volumes on this pump have been insane (over 100 million USD a day). Just a pump ? Or a structual awakening of the market to HIVE? Time will tell. The real question is when will the empire strike back and pump STEEM. Crazy times we live in folks ! HIVE is indeed alive.

It is crazy; its the volume that gets me. Too much volume for a normal pump and dump. Something is going on.
I know but I tend to think on an explanation. There was a huge amount of money in Stablecoins and hive just appeared at the right moment with no competitor with such a big ROI. Just about all the volume comes from Huobi USDT pair.
Sadly, I think this price is not here to stay right now. What goes up so fast, usually comes down also fast. I wish I could sell some right now and buy back with a lower price but I have all powered up 😃.
I guess we will see. Ravencoin just went up and up and up. Perhaps people see us as the community backed DPOS compared to Ravencoin as a community backed POW? Who knows; we can only dream.
I don't think it will be back at 10c anytime soon.
Yeah, I also think we don't see 10c. It's a shame I bought so little Hive during the discount.

Steem pump is on its way. I think it has started already. But i hope hive stabilizes soon
First of all compliments to the image. Dope colors, and nice contrast of grey sky to the orange dirt. Love it.
Regarding recent price action? Only time will tell, since the actual change between those two forks still too small i believe. Might be somebody's just buying ammunition for a future dump war... Steem pumped a bit too though. Still both chains.. probably the biggest consumer adoption from all them chains out there.
Steemit used to dump over 1 million tokens a month to fund themselves which always kept the price down in the dumps. This is the main difference in price pressure (other then decentralized ideology). Time will tell however.
That is no question having downwards effect on the price action. On the other hand steemit inc did deliver solid base software package, thanks for this and initial push but now decentralized community can build on that independently i hope.
