Horseshoe Falls

HorseshoeFalls.jpg

It seems there is an endless supply of amazing waterfalls in Tasmania. This is Horseshoe Falls in Mount Field National Park. It forms part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, Tasmania, Australia

I took this shot with a Canon EOS 6D and a Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II at 23mm and ISO 100, f/22 and 0.2s.

If you would like to learn a little bit more about my background in photography you can read the interview @photofeed did with me here.

Sure. There are many waterfall. We have the one of seven top hills before you climb the last floor where the water originated from. We have several. Hope to get there with my family members soonest 😊

We had planned to go here in March, the falls, but the trip was cancelled due to the virus. We are scheduled for October now but am not sure if that will even happen. Flights are with Virgin...Who knows what's happening with them, plus the borders are still closed. (Have to transit through Melbourne, and Victoria are having second-wave COVID issues.

Great picture!

Yeah, I think so. Might have to do some off-road adventures in the camper trailer.

Lol...I could box myself up and use Australia Post too...Although there is no guarantee they'd get me there with their recent cut-backs. I can see me now, boxed up in bubble wrap. I'd sit there in the dark popping those little capsules all the way...Lol.

Soem of the scenery almost makes me wish we had moved there. My partner was trying really hard to sell me on the idea but I refused because it gets colder in Tasmania than it does here and I'm a wuss XD

I wonder how many Horseshoe Falls there are around the world. We have one here in Oregon, too.

It's nice to have a beautiful waterfall like this. Almost every day we can feel the cool atmosphere. You took a photo of this beautiful waterfall landscape. Can soothe the eyes.

I would so love to be there right now... I'm "stuck" in Western Australia until they open the borders again. sigh

An incredibly beautiful image @intrepidphotos.
You've managed to entice me effortlessly to get back to Tasmania some day and do more exploring of this amazing place.
