A Gem from 2000s - Jackie Chan Adventures.

What a week this has been for me. I spent an average of 15Hrs a day working. (Not proud of it, just letting the pain out.) My body is sore from all the sitting, typing, and reading. So I decided to give myself a much-needed break. I tried Netflix-ing and chilling. Couldn’t chill or Netflixed anything. Everything was either a copy of a copy of a copy or a big-ass series that demands hours of attention. I might have browsed the entire Thriller and adventure genre but nothing looked appealing. But I didn’t give up. I browsed a little more only to remind myself that I have a few shows to finish and by few, I mean butt load. Good Doctor, Blacklist, Jojo Bizzare Adventure, Demon Slayers, Claymore, Madras Cafe, Seinfeld, and the list probably will outlast the end of the world.
So After spending almost an hour pressing the down key on the remote. I got tired and switched to Disney+. And as expected it was the same story. Scroll, read the synopsis, scroll more, read more. I mean why is there a Hocus Pocus 2, a sequel to the 1993 comedy series? The sequel is literally a generation apart from the original.

So, I decided to kill time and my remaining brain cells with Voots Kids. I had been watching the kid's channel lately, Not by choice the little one is forcing me to put on something like coco-melon, or some other kids' shows. While scrolling through the crap list of cartoons, I came across my childhood fav., Pokemon, BayBlade, Transformers Armada, and

Jackie Chan Adventure

I cannot express how many episodes I rewatched when I was a kid. unfortunately, I missed many of them. A super fan of Jackie Chan. I remember fighting with my sister over the remote because she wanted to watch some Bollywood crap. The schedule clashed with my Jackie time (Yeah, I should edit this out, sounds weird calling something that I enjoy a Jackie time. Sounds disgusting ) Anyway, me and sis fought, and things got escalated and we both ended up having no TV access for days. There was no Internet available only way to watch a show is to catch it when it was being telecasted. I was just imagining how the story might have gone, what kind of new talisman Jackie might have uncovered. The awesome fight scenes between Jackie and the shadowkhans.

Oh!! In case you are wondering. Jackie Chan Adventure is animated TV series of the 2000s. One of the best. Although watching the hand-drawn animation looks a little dated but it is still very pleasant to look at. The animation is done perfectly to match the style of Jackie Chan's martial art and comedy timings. The series is all about an animated version of Jackie chan playing an archaeologist and fighting bad guys, evil guys, demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural elements. A kick-ass show I say. I just watched the first episode of the show. Although I have very little memory of how the rest of the show went. All I remember is that I fought hard for the remote that day, which means the show must be interesting. So I am adding this to my must-watch list. Hoping that I will get to complete this show while it is still available on the platform and in this lifetime.
