Hello there Hiveans! Glad to see you guys again on the Hive Stock Images Community... ^_^

By the way, do you guys like insects ? some people may like it, and some may not like it. There are a lot of reason why people didn't like insects, such as having phobia, hate insects, feeling disgusted, or they think that insects are useless at all...

But for me personally, Insects are unique creatures. Although there are some of them that sometimes interfere with human activities, but there are still many of them who inhabit the forest and are just busy with their own lives...

As an insects lovers, insect is one of my favorite photography object. Therefore today, I would like to share about a kind of insect that named by the local people as Kumbang Capit

This is the second time I have found this type of insect. A few days ago, unexpectedly one of the Kumbang Capit stuck in my house which is located near the forest. And today I found it again while walking through the forest. You know, it makes me feel so lucky... ^_^

Now let's talk about this insect and the characteristics. You can see the color of the insect was so beautiful and elegat. It's like only two color, black and orange...

They are quite aggressive and have something shaped like a claw in their mouth. If you wanna see them, you can look for them in large tree holes, but be careful, because these insects can also bite when they feel threatened.

And just like other beetles, the Kumbang Capit can also fly, their wings are hidden under their beautiful orange robes. ^_^ super cool isn't it ?!
