My Contribution #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

Hello everyone.....

Without realizing it, the long-awaited day has arrived, where currently many mushroom lovers want to share their mushroom prey. Likewise, I want to share photos of mushrooms that I have captured into beautiful photos and I want to share them with my friends in this beloved community. Because every country has different mushrooms, so does the country where I live, namely Indonesia. Indonesia is a tropical country that has two seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season.

Currently in my country is experiencing a dry season or drought, which makes it very difficult for me to find mushrooms, because we know mushrooms will grow in places with sufficient water or moist soil. However, I still believe that my journey today will pay off to get some mushrooms that I can share with my friends in the #FungiFriday community. My trip to look for mushrooms this time had to cover a longer distance than usual, due to the unfavorable weather conditions in the area where I usually look for some mushrooms, I ended up traveling to another place in the highlands and hoping to get some mushroom objects that I could find. my photo.

Finally I managed to find some very beautiful mushrooms with yellow color like the theme given by @ewkaw , there are some photos of mushrooms that I share today that have been shared before. But the mushroom file that I shared today is a different file, because this mushroom has a yellow color according to today's theme, so I decided to include some photos in the post to complete this week's yellow theme.

My goal in looking for mushrooms is not only to capture them into beautiful photos but also to take home so that I can consume them with my beloved family. Mushrooms are very delicious food, my family and I usually cook this mushroom with a mixture of instant noodles. But there are also many mushrooms that cannot be consumed, if you want to consume them, you must know in advance which types of mushrooms can be consumed.

Below are some photos of mushrooms that I managed to capture through photos, and I want to share with friends in the #FungiFriday community

Coprinellus micaceus

I searched for the latin name of this mushroom through a google search and finally I found that this mushroom is often called Coprinellus micaceus, this mushroom is a brownish yellow hat mushroom and has small grains like salt in the cap of this mushroom. I found mushrooms among a pile of fallen and rotting wood branches and covered with brownish yellow moss which added to the charm of this mushroom, so the mushrooms looked very beautiful and I immediately took out a macro lens to take pictures of these mushrooms. Usually I see this mushroom growing singly between wood branches, but with a little yellow moss between these mushrooms makes this mushroom very beautiful.

Common Rustgill

This is a very easily recognizable family of fungi, having the yellow gills and spots that characterize this fungus. Usually, this fungus grows a lot among wood chips that have started to rot, like the mushrooms that are currently found among piles of fallen and rotting twigs. I really like the gills of this mushroom, because the very fine and soft fiber of the mushroom attracts me to capture it into a beautiful photo.

The yellow color of this mushroom is very obvious almost to the stem, and the slightly mixed brown spots on the mushroom cap make this mushroom very beautiful to photograph.

Polyporus Alveolaris

This is a very pretty mushroom with fan-shaped hexagonal pores, and it usually grows on fallen and rotting wood. Like the mushrooms I met today, I saw very beautiful mushrooms with yellowish color and scales and have very beautiful pores on the inside of these mushrooms like diamonds.

Even if you notice this mushroom also has fibers that resemble a honeycomb, this is a very beautiful mushroom to be documented as a photo. I've posted about Polyporus Alveolaris before, but when I read @ewkaw's post last week about the yellow theme. I tried to find some photos of the yellow mushrooms and finally I found this mushroom, the file of this mushroom is a different file from my previous post.

Gloeophyllum sepiarium

This is a fungus that we often encounter growing on fallen and rotting wood twigs, this fungus also has rusty pores that make the wood that is infested with this fungus rot.

Usually this mushroom has a dark brown color, but this time I found this mushroom with a very dominant yellow color and dark brown on the back. The rusty pores of this fungus become a very beautiful attraction to be used as an object from a photo, especially if it is documented using a macro lens like the photo I share today.

Pezizaceae

This mushroom is also often referred to as a cup mushroom, the shape of this mushroom is a little strange and some even resemble a plate. Usually this mushroom has a bright color like red, but this time I found this mushroom with a very beautiful yellow color.

Because this mushroom has a very unique shape like a cup and I found it among piles of rotting wood branches, making this mushroom a little dirty and muddy. Looks like last night this mushroom caught a few drops of water, with the bright yellow color of this mushroom so it still looks beautiful.

Polyporus arcularius

This is a very beautiful mushroom growing on a fallen tree branch, I found this mushroom and almost stepped on it. This mushroom has very beautiful pores on the inside, and has a hat like a button on a shirt.

By the time I found this mushroom, it was almost wilted. But because the shape is still intact and has not been damaged, I finally decided to immortalize it as a photo.
