Alice Cooper Amigurumi

Saludos querida comunidad, hoy finalmente terminé el encargo de mi amigo, fueron dos semanas de intenso trabajo para hacer esta figura del icónico Alice Cooper, toda una leyenda del rock quien forma parte del salón de la fama, famoso por su espectáculos de horror show, mi amigo es un gran fan de él y fue muy especifico con sus requerimientos acerca del amigurumi, espero el se sienta tan feliz con el resultado como yo me siento.

Greetings dear community, today I finally finished my friend's order, it took two weeks of intense work to make this figure of the iconic Alice Cooper, a rock legend who is part of the hall of fame, famous for his horror shows, My friend is a big fan of his and he was very specific with his requirements about the amigurumi, I hope he is as happy with the result as I am.

Hay cosas muy particulares que hacen diferenciar a Alice Cooper, además de su maquillaje y su cabello, mi cliente me pidió que incluyera todo, escogimos que el vestuario sería el traje a rayas rojas y negras que uso Alice Cooper en el concierto del festival Wacken del año 2013, el me dijo que el siempre usa guantes y que no podía faltar, me pidió que hiciera el bastón y por si fuera poco me dijo que incluyera la serpiente que Alice solía cargar en el cuello en sus presentaciones, la mayoría de la veces usaba una serpiente verde pero en una ocasión usó una serpiente pitón amarilla y a mi amigo le parecía más bonita esa, con todo esto en mente puse manos a la obra para comenzar el trabajo.

There are very particular things that differentiate Alice Cooper, in addition to his makeup and hair, my client asked me to include everything, we chose the costume to be the red and black striped suit that Alice Cooper wore at the Wacken festival concert in year 2013, he told me that he always wears gloves and that he could not miss it, he asked me to make the cane and as if that were not enough he told me to include the snake that Alice used to carry around her neck in her presentations, most of the time he used a green snake but on one occasion he used a yellow python and my friend thought it was prettier, with all this in mind I got to work to start the job.

Comencé haciendo las piernas tejiendo en dos agujas, usando una hebra de cada color, luego cosí la entrepierna, hice los zapatos con crochet, hice una estructura de alambre sobre la cual coloqué los zapatos y cosí a la bota del pantalón, luego levanté los puntos de la cintura para realizar el tronco, hice los guantes y brazos por separado y luego los uní a cada lado y continúe haciendo los hombros y el cuello, luego hice la cabeza, una de las características físicas de Alice Cooper es su nariz prominente, por eso mi amigo me dijo que por favor lo hiciera con la nariz grande.

I started by making the legs by knitting on two needles, using one strand of each color, then I sewed the crotch, crocheted the shoes, made a wire frame on which I placed the shoes and sewed to the pant boot, then picked up the stitches from the waist to make the trunk, I made the gloves and arms separately and then I joined them on each side and continue making the shoulders and neck, then I made the head, one of the physical characteristics of Alice Cooper is his prominent nose, for That's why my friend told me to please do it with a big nose.

Luego cosí perlas negras para los ojos y luego con hilo y aguja hice el bordado de la líneas del maquillaje , luego apliqué tiza pastel negra, para el cabello metí una por una las hebras en la cabeza, este proceso tomó mucho tiempo, luego hice el famoso cinturón con el nombre de él.

Then I sewed black pearls for the eyes and then with a needle and thread I did the embroidery of the makeup lines, then I applied black pastel chalk, for the hair I put the strands on the head one by one, this process took a long time, then I did the famous belt with his name.

Para el saco volví a utilizar dos agujas con una hebra de cada color, este saco fue la parte más difícil pero a la vez la que más disfruté, porque el resultado fue exactamente como lo esperaba. Luego hice el bastón al cual metí un palillo de altura por dentro.

For the suit I used two needles again with one strand of each color, this bag was the most difficult part but at the same time the one that I enjoyed the most, because the result was exactly as I expected. Then I made the cane to which I put a toothpick inside.

Para la serpiente utilicé un hilo amarillo claro y otro hilo amarillo más oscuro para hacer el patrón de manchas, use una estructura de alambre por dentro de la serpiente para que esta se pueda doblar y mantener en la posición deseada, cuando finalicé de hacer la serpiente me divertí mucho jugando con ella colocándole en diferentes posiciones.

For the snake I used a light yellow thread and a darker yellow thread to make the pattern of spots, I used a wire structure inside the snake so that it can be bent and kept in the desired position, when I finished making the snake I had a lot of fun playing with her putting her in different positions.

Resultado

Pocas veces tengo la oportunidad de hacer un amigurumi tan rockero como este y por eso debo agradecer a mi amigo y cliente por su confianza en mi trabajo, además de esperar casi un mes para obtener el resultado.

Rarely do I have the opportunity to make an amigurumi rocker like this and that is why I must thank my friend and client for their trust in my work, in addition to waiting almost a month to obtain the result.
