Greetings dear community, I hope you are well, like all artisans I am happy when a client returns and this is the third time that a person makes me a special commission, I love this because it means that they like my art and have been satisfied with the results. previous works, the best thing about this client is that he does not ask me for a price reduction or is picky with the details of the commission, he always comes with a clear idea or with a reference photograph to ask me what he wants, this was the case, He sent an image of a goat skull amigurumi that he saw on the Internet and he just wanted me to make one but changing the shape of the horns so that they are curved and sized to fit in one hand, I was delighted with the idea and put hands on the work and this is the needlework that I share with you today.

Proceso / Process

For this amigurumi I used black and white acrylic yarn, hook # 4 (1.25). I started with the skull using white yarn, I shaped it into an oval, starting with 6 single crochets in a ring, I made 6 increases per row until I got 72, I made 12 more rows and then I made 3 decreases per row until I had 9 stitches, I filled in before closing.

Then I made the nose part as a small flattened cone, and I raised 12 stitches from the bottom sides of the skull because goats don't have upper front teeth.

For the eye socket with black thread I made a ring of 8 single crochet, sure 8 increases for two rows, then I made one more row with black thread and changed to white thread for the last row. I sewed with the same final thread on each side of the skull.

I made the horns with black thread, I started with 4 single crochets in a ring, making rows of 2 increases equidistantly until I reached 36 stitches until I obtained the desired length, to achieve the curved shape I replaced half of the single crochets with stitches slipped every certain number of rows equidistantly.

I inserted a wire into the skull long enough to live both horns, I stuffed and sewed the horns with the wire on the inside and then I gave it the curved shape.

wow this is so creative and it surely takes time and patience. I like the process you've shared. Two horns and head shape seems difficult to make, I'm not into such creative work but I love blogs on that. Thanks dear friend Irene for sharing this art work.

Thank you very much, making the head was easier than the horns, these took me more time to work 😊
