Amigurumi Panda Rojo. Un proyecto inesperado
Saludos querida comunidad, espero se encuentren bien, cualquier día es bueno para crear con agujas, pero nos les ha pasado que tienen un bajón emocional debido a la poca disponibilidad de materiales que poseen? , tengo días pasando por eso, he estado desanimada, revisaba el cajón donde están mis hilos para tejer y el resultado era el mismo, aun no he podido hacer compras de material y volver a reabastecer mis preciados materiales, cuando digo preciados es porque verdaderamente son costosos para mi considerando el orden de las prioridades del hogar y la desmejorado económica de mi país, el problema era que la mayoría de mis hilos son pequeños restos de proyectos anteriores, por eso cuando tenía una idea para un amigurumi, siempre faltaba un color o varios para completar, por eso abandonaba la idea antes de comenzar. Pero ayer noté que tenia un hilo que es de un color peculiar, es rojo pero a la vez tiene cierto parecido al marrón, es uno de esos colores que es un poco difíciles de descifrar, por ser el color tan especifico el ovillo estaba nuevo, así que me puse a pensar que podría hacer y se me ocurrió hacer un panda rojo.

I have been going through this for days, I have been discouraged, I checked the drawer where my knitting threads are and the result was the same, I still have not been able to buy material and replenish my precious materials, when I say precious it is because they really are expensive for me considering the order of priorities of the home and the economic decline of my country, the problem was that most of my threads are small remains of previous projects, so when I had an idea for an amigurumi, I always needed a color or several to complete, that's why I abandoned the idea before starting. But yesterday I noticed that I had a thread that is of a peculiar color, it is red but at the same time it has a certain resemblance to brown, it is one of those colors that is a bit difficult to decipher, because the color is so specific, the ball was new, So I started to think about what I could do and it occurred to me to make a red panda.
Los pandas rojos son mamíferos que se pueden encontrar en Asia sobre todo en el país de China, fueron recientemente popularizados gracias a la película de animación Red el año pasado algo que me parece bueno porque tengo entendido que es una especie protegida y en peligro de extinción, por otro lado siempre me han parecido unos animales muy lindos, aunque los pandas más conocidos son los osos blancos con negro, estas dos especies de animales no son familia, estas criaturas de pelaje rojizo pertenecen a otro grupo. Busqué referencias de animales reales para ver su pelaje y no es rojo por completo, sus patas son oscuras al igual que parte de pecho, además la cola es muy esponjado y tiene franjas rojas y oscuras. Cuando comencé a hace el amigurumi decidí que lo haría con una forma humanizada, es decir, que se pondría erguido con sus patas posteriores, algo diferente a los reales.
Red pandas are mammals that can be found in Asia, especially in the country of China, they were recently popularized thanks to the animated film Red last year, something that seems good to me because I understand that it is a protected and endangered species. On the other hand, they have always seemed to me to be very cute animals, although the best known pandas are the black and white bears, these two species of animals are not related, these creatures with reddish fur belong to another group. I looked for references to real animals to see their fur and it is not completely red, its legs are dark as well as part of the chest, also the tail is very fluffy and has red and dark stripes. When I started to make the amigurumi I decided that I would do it in a humanized way, that is, that it would stand upright with its hind legs, something different from the real ones.
La gracioso que ocurrió cuando hice las patas con hilo marrón oscuro también parte del vientre y pecho del animal, es que mi hijo me preguntó que por qué el oso se había llenado las patas de barro, esto me hizo reír, porque en realidad los pandas rojos pareciera que hubiesen tenido la idea de caminar en barro y por lo tanto sus piernas y pecho se ensuciaron y no lucen rojas como el lomo 😅.
The funny thing that happened when I made the legs with dark brown thread also part of the belly and chest of the animal, is that my son asked me why the bear had covered its legs with mud, this made me laugh, because in reality the pandas reds it seems that they had the idea of walking in mud and therefore their legs and chest got dirty and they don't look red like the back 😅.
La cola anillada de estos animales luce muy suave, es algo parecido a los zorros de cola esponjado. Aunque no quise exagerar en el tamaño de la cola, lo hice los suficientemente grande como para lograr que el cuerpo se equilibrara, de este modo el amigurumi puede mantenerse de pie debido a la cola.
The ringed tail of these animals looks very soft, somewhat similar to fluffy-tailed foxes. Although I didn't want to exaggerate the size of the tail, I made it big enough to balance the body, so the amigurumi can stand upright due to the tail.
En cuanto a la cara me tardé un poco más de tiempo, debido a que no tenía una buena iluminación en el área donde estaba trabajando, así que al trabajar en la parte en que usé tres hebras de color diferente a la vez debía ser cuidadosa de no equivocarme, pero creo que en este punto pensé que esta pequeño proyecto podría volverse más complicado, afortunadamente luego de unas cuantas devoluciones pude terminar la cabeza.
As for the face, it took me a little longer, because I didn't have good lighting in the area where I was working, so when working on the part where I used three different colored strands at the same time, I had to be careful not to make no mistake, but I think at this point I thought this little project could get more complicated, luckily after a few returns I was able to finish the head.
Hacer el hocico fue sencillo, sin embargo las orejas salieron al tercer intento , como las hice hoy creo que mis dedos estaban cansados por todo lo que hice ayer, lo que más me importaba era lograr que los bordes de las orejas fuesen blancos, entonces seguir el orden de los aumentos sin alterar la posición de las puntadas blancas puede ser una tarea un poco fastidiosa si me preguntan, sobre todo en algo tan pequeño como una oreja puntiaguda.

Realmente son pocas las personas que tengo alrededor, es difícil recobrar la motivación cuando siempre observo las mismas cosas, por eso es necesario nutrirse en ocasiones de otros contextos, aunque no he comprado hilo aún, esta vez tener un color peculiar me hizo pensar en el color antes que en la figura, algo que es diferente para mi pues siempre que tengo una idea trato de conseguir los hilos del color correcto, en cambio esta vez fue todo lo contrario, teniendo el color tuve que pensar que hacer con este. Es para mi importante compartir con ustedes este proyecto porque además de mi mamá y mi hijo nadie ve mis amigurumis antes de publicarlos, es decir, que cualquier comentario es valioso para mi y me motiva a seguir adelante. Te quedó precioso, amiga. Es cierto que los materiales en Venezuela son muy costosos y, muchas veces, las prioridades no permiten esos gastos. Cuando llegué a Bogotá, me sorprendí con los precios tan económicos y le envié a mi mamá, inmediatamente, una caja con telas para bordar en punto de cruz y madejas de muchos colores. Ella fue feliz en ese momento porque hacía años que no compraba nada. Puedo comprender tu frustración, pero sigue adelante, con los retacitos puedes hacer cosas muy bellas como siempre. Muchas gracias @aurodivys de hecho el hilo que yo uso se llama hilo colombiano, se que allá hay una gran historia de desarrollo industrial en el área textil, a pesar de los conflictos políticos esa nación mantiene una gran producción, no por nada es tan conocida la ropa interior colombiana y el calzado por ejemplo. Es triste que acá no haya tal desarrollo en esa área. Se que comprar material allá es más económico pero no tengo a familia o conocidos en ese país que puedan enviarme
