Saludos querida comunidad, en mi país nos acercamos a la temporada de graduaciones y da la casualidad que además de que mi sobrina termina el bachillerato, mi sobrino también termina la primaria, por lo tanto quise hacerle algún regalo a crochet para celebrar este hito en su vida, la idea es hacerle un arreglo floral pero antes de hacer las flores, pensé que sería lindo hacer un amigurumi con la toga el birrete, vi algunas referencias y escogí hacerlo no a cuerpo completo sino solo el busto, de modo que pueda incluirlo después como parte del arreglo completo una vez que lo haga 😊

Greetings dear community! In my country, graduation season is approaching, and it just so happens that my niece is finishing high school, and my nephew is also finishing elementary school. Therefore, I wanted to make him a crocheted gift to celebrate this milestone in his life. The idea is to make him a floral arrangement, but before making the flowers, I thought it would be nice to make an amigurumi with the graduation gown and cap. I saw some examples and chose to make it not full-body, but just the torso, so that I can include it later as part of the complete arrangement once I finish it. 😊

Proceso / Process

Para este amigurumi usé lana acrílica y ganchillo de 3mm, comencé haciendo la cabeza con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, luego 6 aumentos por 4 hileras, hice 8 hileras de 30 puntos bajos y 6 disminuciones por 3 hileras, hice 12 puntos bajos para el cuello, en la siguiente hilera hice 12 aumentos para obtener 24 y cambié al color azul, hice 6 aumentos por 2 hileras, hice 36 puntos bajos por 4 hileras, rellené y luego cerré con 18 puntos bajos tomando dos puntadas a la vez. Coloqué los ojos antes de cerrar, hice las orejas y bordé los detalles de los ojos y la nariz.

For this amigurumi, I used acrylic yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. I started by making the head with 6 single crochet stitches in a ring, then 6 increases for 4 rows. I made 8 rows of 30 single crochet stitches and 6 decreases for 3 rows. I made 12 single crochet stitches for the neck, and in the next row, I made 12 increases to get 24 stitches and changed to blue yarn. I made 6 increases for 2 rows, then 36 single crochet stitches for 4 rows. I stuffed it and then closed it with 18 single crochet stitches, working two stitches at a time. I attached the eyes before closing, made the ears, and embroidered the details of the eyes and nose.

Para el cabello comencé de igual manera que con la cabeza, es decir, hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo e hice 6 aumentos por 4 hileras, hice 30 puntos bajos por 7 hileras, en la última hilera hice los 6 mechones de cabello de 6 cadenas y 6 puntos deslizados sobre estas, cosí el cabello a la cabeza y los mechones de cabello del flequillo los cosí hacia atrás.

For the hair I started in the same way as with the head, that is, I made 6 single crochet stitches in a ring and made 6 increases for 4 rows, I made 30 single crochet stitches for 7 rows, in the last row I made the 6 hair strands of 6 chains and 6 slip stitches over these, I sewed the hair to the head and the bangs hair strands I sewed to the back.

Para el birrete con hilo azul hice 8 puntos bajos en un anillo, hice 4 aumentos dobles por 5 hileras, pero en la tercera hilera tomé solo la parte delantera de las puntadas. Luego por donde habían quedado la hebra de trasera de las puntadas de la tercera hilera levanté 24 puntadas e hice 3 hileras de puntos bajos. Con hilo amarillo hice 10 cadenas con una borla en la punta. Igualmente, con hilo amarillo hice la banda con 24 cadenas de base y 2 hileras de puntos bajos.

For the graduation cap, using blue yarn, I made 8 single crochet stitches in a ring, then 4 double increases for 4 rows, but in the third row, I worked only in the front loops. Then, using the back loops from the third row, I picked up 24 stitches and worked 3 rows of single crochet. With yellow yarn, I made 10 chains with a tassel at the end. Similarly, with yellow yarn, I made the headband with a foundation chain of 24 and 2 rows of single crochet.
