Saludos querida comunidad, hace unos días atrás un cliente me hizo un pedido muy especial, se trata de un amigurumi personalizado de su hija, la cual pertenece a un equipo de voleibol, me envió la foto de la chica con su uniforme y me encantó la idea y acordé hacerlo lo mas parecido posible, el resultado me encantó y por eso lo comparto con ustedes.

Greetings dear community, a few days ago a client placed a very special order with me: a personalized amigurumi of his daughter, who belongs to a volleyball team. He sent me a photo of the girl in her uniform, and I loved the idea and agreed to make it as similar as possible. I loved the result, and that's why I'm sharing it with you.

Proceso / Process

Estoy acostumbrada a hacer amigurumis más pequeños , pero ya tenía la experiencia de haber hecho recientemente a la pareja de la película UP, me sentí mucho mas confiada para realizar este encargo, lo hice con hebra doble de hilo acrílico y ganchillo de 2.5mm, comencé de pies a cabeza , primero con los zapatos con 6 cadenas de base, aumentos hasta llegar a un óvalo de 20, hice el zapato y las disminuciones para el tobillo, como la chica tenia un short por lo mostraba sus piernas no quise hacer las piernas rectas, sino que le hice curvas valiéndome de disminuciones y aumentos para hacer que se notaran las pantorrillas, la rodilla y los muslos mas anchos, del mismo modo también hice aumentos para los glúteos y luego disminuciones para la cintura, me encantó tanto el resultado que decidí también hacer aumentos para la parte del pecho aunque la camiseta la haría aparte, luego uní los brazos y continué hasta el cuello, decidí hacer las cabeza que se pudiera girar por lo cual hice el cuello largo para meter la cabeza después.

I'm used to making smaller amigurumi, but having recently made the couple from the movie UP, I felt much more confident taking on this commission. I made it with double strands of acrylic yarn and a 2.5mm crochet hook. I started from head to toe, beginning with the shoes. I chained 6 for the foundation, increasing until I reached an oval of 20. I made the shoe and the decreases for the ankle. Since the girl was wearing shorts and showing her legs, I didn't want to make them straight. Instead, I gave them curves using decreases and increases to make the calves, knees, and wider thighs stand out. I also increased stitches for the buttocks and then decreased stitches for the waist. I loved the result so much that I decided to also increase stitches for the chest area, although I would make the shirt separately. Then I joined the arms and continued to the neck. I decided to make the head turnable, so I made the neck long enough to insert the head later.

Para la camiseta hice y deshice varias veces, porque buscaba la mejor manera de hacerla, lo que al final me resultó más adecuado fue hacer el canesú de forma cuadrada, el color era morado pero en la parte de atrás tenia verde y un degradado hasta llegar al morado otra vez, esta parte la resolví tomando un hebra de cada color por una hilera, luego hice el cambio de color completo y me encantó. Luego hice el número nueve, lo cosí en la espalda y los demás detalles como el nombre y numero frontal los hice bordados.

For the t-shirt, I made and remade it several times because I was looking for the best way to do it. What worked best in the end was making the yoke square. The color was purple, but the back had green and a gradient that faded back to purple. I solved this by using one strand of each color for one row, then I did the complete color change, and I loved it. Then I made the number nine, sewed it on the back, and embroidered the other details like the name and number on the front.

Coloqué la cabeza solo después de haberle puesto la camiseta al amigurumi. Otro reto fue hacer el cabello tal cual lo tenía la chica en la foto, este peinado era una cola de caballo pero en los lados tenia dos trenzas que se extendían hasta llegar a la coleta, por eso decidí hacer el cabello desde atrás hacia adelante haciendo los mechones para las trenzas muchos mas largos, de modo que después de haber cosido todo el cabello por alrededor de la cabeza, pudiera hacer las trenzas de delante hacia a atrás, crenado entonces la cola de caballo 😊, luego hice los detalles como la cinta del cabello y los detalles de los zapatos. Espero en un futuro recibir mas encargos personalizados como este, me parece un detalle espectacular para dar de regalo.

I attached the head only after putting the t-shirt on the amigurumi. Another challenge was making the hair exactly like the girl's in the photo. Her hairstyle was a ponytail, but on the sides, she had two braids that extended to the ponytail. So, I decided to work the hair from back to front, making the strands for the braids much longer. This way, after sewing all the hair around the head, I could braid from front to back, creating the ponytail 😊. Then I added the details like the hair ribbon and the shoe details. I hope to receive more custom orders like this in the future; I think it makes a spectacular gift.
