Angel-A. Una película con una importante lección de vida
Saludos a todos, el día de hoy les comparto un análisis personal de la película Angel-A, pelicula francesa dirigida por Luc Benson en el año 2005, esta trata sobre André, un hombre de 28 años que tiene origen árabe pero obtuvo la greencard en Estados Unidos, pero sus malos pasos lo llevaron a migrar a París, el ha tenido una vida llena de malas decisiones, queriendo lograr grandes cosas pero asociándose con estafadores, perdiendo dinero en apuestas y malas inversiones, es una hombre con baja autoestima que se ha acostumbrado a no decir nunca la verdad y que ha llegado un punto en que le debe tanto dinero a gente peligrosa que decide suicidarse, pero al momento de hacerlo se dirige al cielo diciendo que por que Dios lo ha abandonado, en se mismo puente una chica hermosa decide también suicidarse al mismo tiempo y André decide salvarla, allí comienzan una especie de relación en la que André por haber salvado a la chica ahora ella hará todo lo que el le pida para ayudarlo con sus problemas.
Greetings everyone, today I am sharing a personal analysis of the movie Angel-A, a French film directed by Luc Benson in 2005, it is about André, a 28-year-old man of Arab origin who obtained a green card in United States, but his bad steps led him to migrate to Paris, he has had a life full of bad decisions, wanting to achieve great things but associating with scammers, losing money in bets and bad investments, he is a man with low self-esteem who has accustomed to never telling the truth and that he has reached a point where he owes so much money to dangerous people that he decides to commit suicide, but at the moment of doing so he goes to heaven saying that because God has abandoned him, on that same bridge a girl Hermosa also decides to commit suicide at the same time and André decides to save her, there they begin a kind of relationship in which André, for having saved the girl, now she will do everything he asks to help him with his problems.
Al principio de la película pareciera como esta chica estuviera acostumbrada a usar su cuerpo para obtener lo que desea, pero a la vez pareciera que André es el que nunca encuentra la manera de salir de sus problemas, Angel-A se encarga de hacerle entender por diferentes medios que debe aprender a vivir y a valorarse a sí mismo. Considero que ella le enseña varias lecciones, la primera tiene que ver con la autoestima, André tiene una autoestima muy baja, esto lo lleva tomar las decisiones equivocadas, no sabe tener el carácter para los negocios, es una persona que es fácilmente manipulable y usada porque es capaz de caer en la trampa de cualquiera que lo adule, esto es un error que cometen todas la personas con baja autoestima, si son adulados entonces son manipulados.
At the beginning of the film it seems like this girl is used to using her body to get what she wants, but at the same time it seems that André is the one who never finds a way out of his problems, Angel-A is in charge of making him understand different means that he must learn to live and value himself. I believe that she teaches him several lessons, the first has to do with self-esteem, André has very low self-esteem, this leads him to make the wrong decisions, he does not know how to have the character for business, he is a person who is easily manipulated and used because he is capable of falling into the trap of anyone who flatters him, this is a mistake that all people with low self-esteem make, if they are flattered then they are manipulated.
Otro aspecto que me parece importante, es que Angel-A le muestra a André la importancia del amor propio, que la belleza viene del interior pero que al mismo tiempo se debe amar el exterior, hay una escena que ella le pide que se diga a sí mismo que se ama, pero André no puede hacerlo, ella le dice que él no sabe hacerlo porque nunca le han mostrado como se hace, ella le dice que lo ama, entonces él es capaz de decir que se ama a sí mismo, esto me parece grandioso, es una de las escenas más emotivas de la película, porque hay una frase que la gente repite esta es “el que no se ama a sí mismo no puede amar a otro” pero eso no es totalmente cierto, las personas con baja autoestima merecer recibir amor y dar amor, esto le da la oportunidad de amarse a si mismo, porque el amor también es algo que se aprende no solo que se siente.
Another aspect that seems important to me is that Angel-A shows André the importance of self-love, that beauty comes from the inside but at the same time you must love the outside, there is a scene that she asks him to say to himself that he loves himself, but André cannot do it, she tells him that he doesn't know how to do it because they have never shown him how to do it, she tells him that she loves him, then he is able to say that he loves himself, this I think it's great, it's one of the most emotional scenes in the movie, because there's a phrase that people repeat, this is "he who doesn't love himself can't love another" but that's not completely true, people with low self-esteem deserve to receive love and give love, this gives you the opportunity to love yourself, because love is also something that is learned, not just felt.
Además del amor, creo que la lección más importante que le enseña Angel-A a André es que debe decir la verdad, pues el siempre ha tenido el hábito de mentir, incluso a se miente a si mismo porque no es capaz de expresar lo que siente, una vez que André logra decir la verdad dice que se siente libre, esto me recuerda a la frase que dice que “solo la verdad nos hará libres”, porque considero que vivir en mentiras es hacerse una prisión desde adentro, donde la persona va poniendo un muro de mentiras que termina por caerse y tapiarlo.
Besides love, I think the most important lesson that Angel-A teaches André is that he must tell the truth, since he has always had the habit of lying, even to himself because he is not able to express what he feels, once André manages to tell the truth, he says that he feels free, this reminds me of the phrase that says that "only the truth will set us free", because I consider that living in lies is becoming a prison from the inside, where the person he is putting up a wall of lies that ends up falling and walling it up.
Además André aprender de que su baja autoestima le hace que confíe en al gente equivocada, es un hombre que cree lo que le dicen fácilmente, ella misma le miente con historias absurdas del pasado y el cree todo lo que ella dice, por eso ella le enseña la importancia de ser cuidadoso para no caer en trampas. Igualmente le enseña a valorar las cosas que le rodean, pues André está tan preocupado por sus deudas y sus problemas que ha dejado de disfrutar la vida, ni siquiera se había dado vuelta de la belleza de la ciudad de París y todo lo que se estaba perdiendo al no ver el paisaje y los placeres simples de la vida.
In addition, André learns that his low self-esteem makes him trust the wrong people, he is a man who easily believes what they tell him, she herself lies to him with absurd stories from the past and he believes everything she says, that's why she tells him teaches the importance of being careful not to fall into traps. It also teaches him to value the things that surround him, because André is so worried about his debts and his problems that he has stopped enjoying life, he had not even turned from the beauty of the city of Paris and everything that was happening. losing by not seeing the scenery and the simple pleasures of life.
Hay un punto de la película en Angel-A ayuda a André a conseguir lo que necesita, pero aun teniendo el dinero el se siente muy mal, no está de acuerdo en utilizar a otra persona para lograr sus subjetivos, es decir, André descubre que tiene moral y bondad en su corazón y que una supuesta posición de superioridad ante otra persona no le dará lo que desea, pues abusar de otro no se siente bien.
There is a point in the movie where Angel-A helps André to get what he needs, but even having the money he feels very bad, he does not agree to use another person to achieve his subjective goals, that is, André discovers that he has morals and goodness in his heart and that a supposed position of superiority before another person will not give him what he wants, because abusing another does not feel good.
La película toma un giro inesperado cuando Angel-A le confiesa a Andre que ella es un ángel enviado del cielo para cumplí la misión de ayudarle y que esta debe marcharse una vez lo logre, pero no quiero arruinarles el final si aun no han visto esta película. Lo cierto es que termina siendo una historia muy genial, no es una historia simple de un ángel viene a ayudar a un suicida, es una historia que bien podría adaptarse a diferentes realidades de la personas que la ven, a mi me gusto mucho y la recomiendo.
The movie takes an unexpected turn when Angel-A confesses to Andre that she is an angel sent from heaven to fulfill the mission of helping him and that she must leave once she does, but I don't want to ruin the ending for you if you haven't seen this one yet. movie. Si bien puede tocar temas cliché, por lo que entiendo de tu reseña el producto final es interesante. Esa redención del antihéroe que es el protagonista a través de las distintas experiencias es una forma de conectar con la audiencia. Me llama mucho la atención el hecho de cómo parte la historia, un suicida salvando a otro, porque escribí una historia parecida (sin lo del Ángel). Como te gustó esta película te voy a recomendar otra más clásica, en todo sentido, que también reflexiona sobre el suicidio y la huella que dejamos en los demás: It's a Wonderful Life; el ángel allí sí es más caricaturesco, pero ha reflexiones interesantes.
