Brazalete Macramé del Cuervo de Poe
Saludos a toda la comunidad Jewerly, espero se encuentre bien, esta semana mientras me desplazaba por Instagram vi un trabajo de una página llamada tvorykakhochy la cual se especializa en brazaletes de macramé, lo más interesante es que al igual que yo no tiene ningún problema en compartir los gráficos, entonces me gustó mucho un brazalete que tenia un cuervo, me recordó al Cuervo del poema de Edgar Allan Poe, así que tomando su cuervo como referencia hice un diseño para una brazalete de macramé inspirada en el poema, en el cual el autor se expresa en primera persona asombrado por la visita nocturna e inesperada de un cuervo que toca su puerta y luego al abrir se va a posar al busto de Palas que tiene en la habitación, este le hace preguntas al cuervo y este solo responde “Nunca más”, por eso el hombre piensa que es un visitante del mal allá, también piensa que este cuervo puede haber visto a su amada y fallecida Leonora, entonces el cuervo sigue respondiendo con la misma palabra, quedándose para siempre como un tormento para el pobre hombre. Este poema me encanta y es un ícono de la literatura, por eso siempre la imagen del autor se recuerda con el cuervo.
Greetings to the entire Jewerly community, I hope you are well, this week while moving on Instagram I saw a work of a page called tvorykakhochy which specializes in macrame bracelets, the most interesting thing is that just as I have no problem in Sharing the graphics, so I really liked a bracelet that had a crow, reminded me of Edgar Allan Poe's poem, so taking his crow as a reference I made a design for a macrame bracelet inspired by the poem, in which the Author is expressed in the first person amazed by the night and unexpected visit of a crow that touches his door and then when he opens he will pose to the blades he has in the room, he asks the crow and he only answers “nevermore ”, so man thinks he is a visitor from evil there, he also thinks that this crow may have seen his beloved and deceased Leonora, then the crow continues to respond with the same word , staying forever as a torment for the poor man. I love this poem and is an icon of literature, so the author's image is always remembered with the crow.
Materiales/ Materials
- Hilo acrílico para crochet: beige, gris claro, gris oscuro y negro.
- Tabla con clip
- Tijeras
- Regla de 30 cm
- Papel milimetrado y lápiz
- Acrylic thread for crochet: beige, light gray, dark gray and black.
- Table with clip
- Scissors
- 30 cm rule
- Milimetering paper and pencil
Proceso / Process
El primer paso como siempre es hacer el gráfico con papel milimetrado y lápiz, en el cual los cuadros verticales corresponden al número de hileras de nudos, mientras que los horizontales al número de hebras de base. Decidí incluir la flor de liz y unos pequeños ornamentos en el diseño , además de la palabra “Nunca más” y obviamente el cuervo.
The first step as always is to make the graph with millimeter and pencil paper, in which the vertical frames correspond to the number of rows of knots, while the horizontal to the number of base strands. I decided to include Liz flower and small ornaments in the design, in addition to the word "never again" and obviously the crow.
Medí 6 hebras de hilo beige de 60 cm y un hebra de 70 cm, luego se suma una hebra que va directo al ovillo. Se coloca las hebras largas a los bordes y se sostiene con el clip, se hacen 20 nudos planos envolviendo las hebras del centro. Como verán en la imagen las hebras para los nudos planos hacia la derecha se ven con un 4 y para los nudos a la izquierda se ven con una P.
I measure 6 60 cm beige thread strands and a 70 cm strand, then add a strand that goes straight to the shell. Long strands are placed at the edges and support with the clip, 20 flat knots are made wrapping the strands of the center. As you will see in the image the strands for flat knots to the right are seen with a 4 and for the knots to the left they see a P.
Se dobla a la mitad y se sostiene con el clip enfrentando las hebras, colocando nuevamente la hebra larga que va al ovillo en el borde, así se obtiene 15 hebras de base y la hebra de anudar. Se comienza con dos hileras de nudos simples en color beige, estos nudos pueden ser cuadrados o nudo festón que quedan con una apariencia diagonal, a mi me gustan los nudos cuadrados que es el mismo nudo festón pero dando la cara de atrás. Luego se comienza a hacer el dibujo de flor de liz con hilo gris claro, ese mismo color se usará para los demás dibujos ornamentales.
It folds in half and is held with the clip facing the strands, again placing the long strand that goes to the ball on the edge, this is obtained 15 basic strands and the strand of taught. It begins with two rows of simple knots in beige, these knots can be square or fester knot that remain with a diagonal appearance, I like square knots that are the same faster knot but giving the back face. Then the drawing of Flor de Liz with light gray thread begins to draw, that same color will be used for the other ornamental drawings.
Luego comencé la letra N con hilo gris oscuro, la distancia que hay entre una letra y otra es de una hilera de nudos simples. Continué la secuencia del gráfico hasta que hice el cuervo el cual es negro y gris oscuro en las manchas de las plumas, el ojo es gris claro. Decidí hacer el brazalete beige con gris porque quería que la apariencia fuese como las hojas de un libro antiguo y además el cuervo debía resaltar en un fondo claro.
Then I started the letter N with dark gray thread, the distance between one letter and another is from a row of simple knots. I continued the sequence of the graph until I made the crow which is black and dark gray in the feathers, the eye is light gray. I decided to do the beige bracelet with gray because I wanted the appearance to be like the leaves of an old book and also the crow should highlight in a clear background.
Una vez terminados los nudos, dividí los hilos de base y el hilo de anudar en dos parte iguales para hacer dos trenzas.
Once the knots were finished, I divided the base threads and the taught thread in two equal part to make two braids.
Resultado/ Result
Me gustó hacer mucho este brazalete porque me encanta los escritos que dejó Edgar Allan Poe , tantos sus poemas como sus cuentos son muy importantes para mí, así que este brazalete es como un pequeño tributo a su poema más conocido. Espero les haya gustado.
I liked to do this bracelet a lot because I love the writings that Edgar Allan Poe made, as many his poems as his stories are very important to me, so this bracelet is like a small tribute to his best known poem. I hope you liked it.

Cuantos detalles para este bonito brazalete. Me llama la atención una foto en la que se ve el diminuto tamaño de los hilos en comparación con una de sus uñas, sin duda se necesita maestría para hacer esto.
Por cierto, muy buena temática la del brazalete, es cuando menos interesante que se inspirase en el poema de peo para darle ese toque personalizado al brazalete. Un aplauso por su creatividad.
Muchas gracias por notar el detalle de los hilos, son bastante delgados pero son los que uso igualmente para crochet, así que tengo más disponibilidad, he visto personas que usan hilos aún más delgados, de los de bordar, pero para mi sería un poco difícil adquirir de esos aquí donde vivo. Saludos 🤗
