Día de castración

Saludos amantes de las mascotas, como les he comentado muchas veces el año pasado adopté a una gata con sus dos gatitos, ellos son Rayitas y Blacky quienes según mis cálculos este mes debieron cumplir un año de edad, por eso necesitaba hacer la diligencias para llevarlos a esterilizar.

Greetings pet lovers, as I have mentioned many times last year I adopted a cat with her two kittens, they are Rayitas and Blacky who according to my calculations should have turned one year old this month, so I needed to make the arrangements to have them sterilized.

Este fin de semana me contacté con mi veterinaria de confianza e hice la cita para la cirugía el día de hoy, ayer bañé a los gatos para que estuvieran limpios y presentables y les di de comer temprano para que al día de hoy tuvieran las horas de ayuno necesarias, a Rayitas lo metí en el kenel pero como no tenía otro a Blacky me lo llevé en una cesta para ropa 😄

This weekend I contacted my trusted veterinarian and made the appointment for the surgery today. Yesterday I bathed the cats so they would be clean and presentable and fed them early so they would have the necessary fasting hours by today. I put Rayitas in the kennel, but since I didn’t have another one, I took Blacky in a laundry basket 😄

La cirugía se hizo de forma exitosa y sin contratiempos, al mediodía cuando ambos ya habían despertado de la anestesia fui a buscarlos para traerlos a casa, las primeras hora estaban un poco adormecidos pero luego recuperaron su energía habitual aunque mas silenciosos de lo habitual, comieron tranquilamente la gatarina y mas tarde les di un poco de proteína, ya comenzaron su tratamiento con el antibiótico recetado, siguiendo la posología de 5cc cada 12 horas por 5 días espero que pronto estén completamente recuperados 🥰

The surgery was successful and without complications. At midday, when both had woken up from the anesthesia, I went to pick them up and bring them home. They were a little sleepy for the first few hours, but then they regained their usual energy, although they were quieter than usual. They ate their cat food calmly, and later I gave them some protein. They have already started their treatment with the prescribed antibiotic, following the dosage of 5cc every 12 hours for 5 days. I hope they will soon be fully recovered. 🥰
