Saludos querida comunidad, feliz #neeleworkmonday , hoy pase todo el día trabajando en el crochet por lo cual terminé bastante tarde pero aun así estaba feliz porque afortunadamente hoy el apagón fue de menos horas y pude completar las metas del día, así que aunque ya se me hizo de noche les comparto este amigurumi que hice hace unos días, se trata de un encargo especial porque la cliente hizo mucho hincapié en que se pareciera al gatito de la foto que me había enviado, es decir que tuviera heterocromía y la pequeña mancha de su nariz, al principio pensé que se trataba de su mascota pero luego em enteré que era un gatito ya difunto que pertenecía a su hija y lo encargó precisamente para regalárselo, esto me conmovió mucho así que puse todo de mi parte para lograr que el amigurumi conservara sus mismas características.

Today I spent all day crocheting, so I finished quite late, but I was still happy because fortunately the power outage was shorter today and I was able to complete my goals for the day. So, even though it's already night, I'm sharing this amigurumi I made a few days ago. It was a special order because the client insisted that it resemble the kitten in the photo she sent me, meaning it had heterochromia and the small spot on its nose. At first, I thought it was her pet, but then I found out it was a deceased kitten that belonged to her daughter, and she commissioned it specifically as a gift. This touched me deeply, so I did everything I could to ensure the amigurumi retained its characteristics.

Proceso / Process

Para este amigurumi trabajé con lana acrílica y ganchillo de 3.5mm, empecé por la cabeza con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, 6 aumentos por 3 hileras, 24 puntos bajos por 6 hileras, coloqué los ojitos de plástico y liego hice 6 disminuciones por dos hileras, una hilera de 12 puntos bajos, con lana azul, amarilla, rosada y negra hice los detalles de los aojos antes de continuar con el cuerpo.

Para el cuerpo hice 12 aumentos, luego hice 6 aumentos solo en la mitad, 30 puntos bajos y luego en la siguiente hilera hice los agujeros para las patas haciendo 2 cadenas y saltando 4 puntadas, hice 26 puntos bajos por 2 hileras, en la siguiente hilera hice dos disminuciones del lado del frente, y para finalizar el cuerpo hice 8 disminuciones por 2 hileras y rellené antes de cerrar.

For this amigurumi, I worked with acrylic yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. I started with the head, working 6 single crochet stitches into a magic ring, 6 increases for 3 rows, 24 single crochet stitches for 6 rows, then I attached the plastic eyes and made 6 decreases for two rows, followed by a row of 12 single crochet stitches. Using blue, yellow, pink, and black yarn, I added the details to the eyes before continuing with the body.

For the body, I made 12 increases, then 6 increases in the middle, 30 single crochet stitches, and then in the next row, I made the holes for the legs by chaining 2 and skipping 4 stitches. I worked 26 single crochet stitches for 2 rows, and in the following row, I made two decreases on the front side. To finish the body, I made 8 decreases for 2 rows and stuffed it before closing.

Levanté 6 puntadas en los agujeros he hice las patas delanteras, mientras que para las traseras trabajé aparte con un anillo de 6 puntos bajos y solo hice 3 aumentos en la parte de los dedos, los cuales resalté con un bordado de hilo negro. Para la cola también trabajé con 6 puntos bajos en un anillo y 11 hileras haciendo una curva en la 5 y 7 para que tomara forma de cola, rellené y cosí al cuerpo.

I picked up 6 stitches in the holes and made the front legs, while for the back legs I worked separately with a ring of 6 single crochet stitches and only made 3 increases in the toe area, which I highlighted with black thread embroidery. For the tail I also worked with 6 single crochet stitches in a ring and 11 rows, making a curve in the 5th and 7th rows to give it a tail shape, I stuffed it and sewed it to the body.

Para las orejas comencé con 4 puntos bajos en un anillo y 2 aumentos por 2 hileras solamente, hice dos iguales y las cosí de forma plana a la cabeza, también bordé unos pocos pelos negros en la cabeza tal como tenía el gato en al fotografía, hice el hocico con blanco pero la nariz la bordé con rosado y la mancha con hilo negro, también le puse un collar azul con una perla dorada para que se pareciera a un cascabel y los bigotes los hice con cuerda de nylon.

For the ears I started with 4 single crochet stitches in a ring and 2 increases for 2 rows only, I made two identical ones and sewed them flat to the head, I also embroidered a few black hairs on the head just like the cat had in the photograph, I made the muzzle with white but I embroidered the nose with pink and the spot with black thread, I also put a blue collar with a gold pearl to make it look like a bell and I made the whiskers with nylon cord.
