Me encargaron un Baby Baphomet después de 4 años
Saludos querida comunidad, les cuento que hace 4 años la pareja de una amiga me encargó un amigurumi con forma de Baby Baphomet, el cual realice de forma exitosa y de hecho publiqué sobre la figura en la anterior plataforma cuando no había nacido Hive, el caso es que ahora después de tanto tiempo me contacto la pareja de la misma amiga para encargarme una figura igual ñero de diferente color, yo me quedé pasmada porque aunque no lo crean en aquel entonces y hasta ahora no es común repetir figuras, por lo que solo en algunos casos guardo en mis archivos las puntadas con detalle, este es caso la figura de un Baphomet no pensé que iba a tener un encargo igual así que solo guardé las fotografías.
Greetings dear community, I tell you that 4 years ago a friend's partner commissioned me an amigurumi in the shape of Baby Baphomet, which I made successfully and in fact I published about the figure on the previous platform when Hive had not been born, the case is that now after so much time the partner of the same friend contacted me to order me a figure of the same color in a different color, I was stunned because believe it or not at that time and until now it is not common to repeat figures, so only In some cases, I keep the stitches in detail in my files, this is the case of the figure of a Baphomet. I did not think that I would have a similar commission, so I only kept the photographs.
Aquel amigurumi tenía las piernas con hilo marrón, el cuerpo con rosado claro, los cuernos y pezuñas de color y la cara de color lila, en esta ocasión me pidieron que usará solo gris, negro y blanco y que la llama de la frente fuese rojo con naranja.
That amigurumi had the legs with brown thread, the body with light pink, the horns and hooves in color and the face in purple, this time they asked me to use only grey, black and white and that the flame on the forehead be red with orange.
Por ser un cliente ya conocido obviamente acepté el encargo con mucho gusto, pero tuve que tratar de recordar sobre los que hice hace 4 años, además las fotografías ayudaron porque pude hacer zoom en ellas y como era de colores claro podía contar incluso el numero de puntos aproximados del ancho en algunas parte y el número de hileras en otras, si la situación fuese sido al revés, es decir que el primero fuese de color negro, no habría podido hacer esta estrategia de contar las puntadas en al foto porque el hilo negro no sólo es difícil de ver para tejer sino que también es muy difícil de ver en las foros, es decir, las puntadas no se diferencian.
Being a well-known client, I obviously accepted the commission with great pleasure, but I had to try to remember what I did 4 years ago, and the photographs also helped because I was able to zoom in on them and since it was light in color I could even count the number of Approximate stitches of the width in some parts and the number of rows in others, if the situation had been reversed, that is to say that the first one was black, I would not have been able to do this strategy of counting the stitches in the photo because the black thread not only is it hard to see for knitting but it is also very hard to see on boards, ie the stitches do not differ.
Creo que hice un buen trabajo con las medidas aproximadas, pero aun puede que exista un pequeño margen de error porque no tenía el primer ejemplar de la figura para comparar, por otro lado creo que logre el objetivo y es que la figura pareciera hecha de la misma forma de la anterior, es decir, luce como una pareja de figuras.
I think I did a good job with the approximate measurements, but there may still be a small margin of error because I did not have the first copy of the figure to compare, on the other hand I think I achieved the objective and that is that the figure seemed to be made of the same shape as the previous one, that is, it looks like a pair of figures.
Lo que si me di cuenta de inmediato es que el aquella época yo hacía la curvatura de los cuernos y del tobillo tomando solo la parte frontal de la puntadas en la mitad de la hilera y la otra mitad tomaba la parte de atrás de las puntadas, ahora lo hice con la técnica de aumentos y disminuciones de igual número para crear la curva y creo que se ve mejor de esta forma.
What I did realize right away is that at that time I made the curve of the horns and the ankle taking only the front part of the stitches in the middle of the row and the other half taking the back part of the stitches, now I did it with the equal number increase and decrease technique to create the curve and I think it looks better this way.
Iguaemte en las alas creo que mejoré un poco al hacerlas un poco más anchas, además en este amigurumi aunque no se note incluí la cola que en el anterior había obviado. Le envié las imágenes a mi cliente y está satisfecho, espero que cuando reciba el amigurumi en sus manos esté sea los más parecido posible al otro. Actualmente aunque no vaya a hacer tutorial anoto cada una de las puntadas que hago en un encargo personalizado, pues no se en que momento el mismo cliente me pueda pedir otro igual, así que mis consejo amigas tejedoras es que nunca dejen de tomar registro y anotar todo lo que hagan para que no pasen por lo que yo pasé con este amigurumi 😁

I sent the images to my client and he is satisfied, I hope that when he receives the amigurumi in his hands it will be as similar as possible to the other one. Currently, even if I am not going to do a tutorial, I write down each of the stitches that I make in a personalized order, because I do not know when the same client can ask me for another one, so my advice, knitting friends, is to never stop recording and writing down everything they do so they don't go through what I went through with this amigurumi 😁
