Mis nuevas herramientas para crochet

Saludos querida comunidad, que bonito que es tener una amistad que perdura a pesar de tiempo y la distancia y también es lindo darse cuenta que hay personas que incluso desde lejos aprecian tu trabajo grandemente 🥰 hoy me siento muy feliz porque incluso cuando hayan pasado días difíciles siempre ocurre algo que trae alegría, de la nada recibí un mensaje de quien es hasta ahora la amistad mas larga que he tenido, ella fue mi compañera de estudios durante toda mi secundaria y después que nos graduamos del colegio en 2005 nos hemos visto muy pocas veces pero la sigo queriendo mucho, ella esta actualmente viviendo en USA y me dijo que me había enviado un regalo y que fuera hoy a recogerlo porque lo tenía una tía que vive en mi ciudad.

Greetings dear community, how wonderful it is to have a friendship that endures despite time and distance, and it’s also lovely to realice that there are people who greatly appreciate your work even from afar 🥰 Today I feel very happy because even after difficult days, something always happens that brings joy. Out of nowhere, I received a message from who is, so far, the longest friendship I’ve ever had. She was my classmate throughout high school, and after we graduated in 2005, we’ve seen each other very few times, but I still love her very much. She’s currently living in the USA and told me she had sent me a gift and that I should pick it up today because an aunt who lives in my city has it.

Yo fui muy rápido porque me quedaba apenas a unas 4 cuadras de mi casa y además estaba muy emocionada por ver lo que me envió mi amiga, el regalo eran ganchillos para crochet 🥹, estoy que mi alma no cabe en mi cuerpo de la emoción pues son mis primeros ganchillos con mango ergonómico, el paquete tiene 12 ganchillos y van desde las medidas de 2.25mm hasta 10mm, pero no tiene todas mas medidas intermedias y me parece un gesto demasiado hermoso que mi amiga se diera cuenta de ese detalle entonces envió otro paquete de 6 ganchillos de aluminio que tenían las medidas que faltaban, aparte envió dos mas de mango ergonómico y un paquete de 3 ganchillos de Bambú que son super ligeros y también es primera vez que tengo unos, envió además un telar circular de 24 postes .

I went really fast because it was only about four blocks from my house, and I was also so excited to see what my friend sent me. The gift was crochet hooks 🥹. I’m bursting with excitement because they’re my first crochet hooks with ergonomic handles. The package has 12 hooks ranging from 2.25mm to 10mm, but it doesn’t have all the intermediate sizes, and I think it’s such a sweet gesture that my friend noticed that detail. So she sent another package of six aluminum hooks that had the missing sizes. She also sent two more with ergonomic handles and a package of three bamboo hooks, which are super lightweight and also the first time I’ve ever had any. She also sent a 24-peg circular loom.

Tanto mi hijo como yo disfrutaremos mucho de estos regalos y les daremos el mejor uso posible como agradecimiento además a tan lindo gesto de mi amiga, deseo que le vaya muy bien donde esta y que toda su familia tenga mucha salud y felicidad, ella sin darse cuenta ha hecho algo que me motiva de una manera muy especial, pues aquí en mi país el arte del crochet es muy infravalorado y que ella crea en mi es algo que me llena el corazón 💜

Both my son and I will greatly enjoy these gifts and will make the best use of them as a way of thanking my friend for such a kind gesture. I wish her all the best wherever she is and that her whole family enjoys good health and happiness. Without realizing it, she has done something that motivates me in a very special way, because here in my country the art of crochet is very undervalued, and the fact that she believes in me fills my heart 💜
