As explained in the preamble to the question, in the past there were many limitations that women had, things like voting or working were not allowed, however, this can vary depending on the culture in which the woman is born, even in the Currently there are cultures and religions that do not allow women to work outside the home and that also force them to marry at a very young age without being able to say no, there are people who think that this only happens in Islamic cultures, but also in other times it happens, many times these situations are products of a social structure that discriminates against and impoverishes certain social groups, for example in Latin America many indigenous peoples have the custom of marrying or selling their daughters for marriage, this is mainly due to the ancestral practice of receiving a dowry for girls after their first menstruation, but this practice continued because after colonization many of these people of this culture live in poverty, in addition problems such as drug trafficking are common in the border areas where they live and there women are subjected to many mistreatments, I say this because when it comes to arranged marriages or sale of women it is believed that it only happens in distant countries and it is not like that, this is a problem still in force worldwide and the reasons may vary but the result is always the same "trade with the lives of women"

En el pasado las mujeres siempre eran jugada por su apariencia y hoy en día ese problema persiste, aunque muchas mujeres disfruten de las tendencias de moda, los maquillaje y la normativa general de lo que la sociedad considera acorde a lo femenino, incluyendo aquellas culturas donde no se trata del maquillaje sino de cubrir su rostro, el punto es que la apariencia de la mujer siempre será juzgada y aunque se trata de romper esa costumbre pareciera cada día más afianzada, cuando una mujer se sale de lo acordado inmediatamente es atacada, bien sea verbalmente o incluso poniendo de duda su moral y por si fuese poco se la sociedad pone en duda la capacidad de una mujer para ejercer cualquier cargo basada en su apariencia, la apariencia de la mujer continúa siendo un objeto de consumo, entonces la injusticia prevalece en todos los niveles, incluso en el nivel judicial cuando una mujer pone una denuncia de acoso se le juzga por la manera en que se viste y se minimiza la responsabilidad del atacante y en algunos casos es peor cuando se trata de una denuncia de violación, aún recuerdo con rabia como en un caso de violación en grupo que quedó grabado en un video de evidencia en España en el juicio se le juzgaba a la víctima por traer puesta una tanga 🤦‍♀️ entonces a mi parecer esta sociedad hace cosas con las manos que luego destruye con los pies.

In the past, women were always played for their appearance and today that problem persists, although many women enjoy fashion trends, makeup and the general norm of what society considers according to what is feminine, including those cultures where It is not about makeup but about covering her face, the point is that the appearance of the woman will always be judged and although it is about breaking that habit, it seems more entrenched every day, when a woman goes out of what was agreed she is immediately attacked, well be it verbally or even questioning her morals and as if that were not enough, society questions the ability of a woman to hold any position based on her appearance, the appearance of the woman continues to be an object of consumption, then injustice prevails at all levels, even at the judicial level, when a woman files a complaint of harassment, she is judged by the way she dresses and the responsibility of the attacker and in some cases it is worse when it comes to a rape complaint, I still remember with anger how in a case of gang rape that was recorded in a video of evidence in Spain in the trial the victim was judged for wearing a thong 🤦‍♀️ so in my opinion this society does things with its hands that it then destroys with its feet.

En el ámbito laboral la apariencia de la mujer sigue siendo clave, si una mujer no tiene “buena apariencia” no le ofrecen cargos de poder aunque tengan un currículo admirable, por otro lado los empleos comunes como los puestos de ventas siempre son ofrecidos para mujeres porque tienen la creencia que solo las mujeres pueden atraer a los clientes, solo mencionar eso me enferma un poco, además la brecha de la edad es increíble, recuerdo en una ocasión estar en una tienda y ver un anuncio de empleo, decía que se buscaba muchacha para puesto de vendedora de edad entre 18 y 28 años, casualmente en ese tiempo yo había cumplido 29 años y me encontraba con mi amiga @Yetsimar después de la universidad, le dije a mi amiga sabes ya para esta sociedad soy una vieja que no sirve para trabajar, porque fíjate si yo quisiera trabajar en esa tienda ya no puedo hacerlo porque excedí la edad solicitada, obviamente yo no estaba buscando trabajo pero ver ese anuncio me indignó, además que buscan preferiblemente mujeres solteras y sin hijos, porque en estos puestos de trabajo no quieren contratar mujeres que salgan embarazadas o que tengan hijos que se puedan enfermar y ser motivo para que falten al trabajo.

Siento que las mujeres siguen siendo maltratadas , pero el maltrato en muchos casos puede venir disfrazado de una forma diferente, tanto así que una mujer en mi país no puede decidir sobre su propio cuerpo en cuanto a la reproducción y si es una mujer joven que quiere ser esterilizada por decisión propia ningún médico quiero hacerlo hasta que la mujer tenga antes varios hijos , es decir que obligatoriamente una mujer debe tener más de dos hijos o presentar una enfermedad grave para poder pagar por una esterilización de forma voluntaria. Entonces que la mujer tenga derecho a hacerlo en este país es casi una mentira cuando en realidad ningún médico está dispuesto a hacer ese procedimiento , de este modo funciona las leyes que defienden a las mujeres en muchos casos, la ley existe pero su cumplimiento siempre es ambiguo y conveniente solo para las personas con poder económico.
