Saludos querida comunidad, feliz #needleworkmonday, como les había comentado en mi post anterior estoy haciendo un arreglo floral para mi sobrino que pronto se graduará de la primaria, lo cual me llena de mucha emoción y por eso estoy preparando todo con antelación, tenia claro como hacer la rosa porque ya he hecho muchas, pero nunca les había hecho la parte verde así que preferí buscar un tutorial en youtube para guiarme, entonces me encontré con uno que explicaba como hacer la rosa completa , lo seguí y el resultado me encantó 😊

Greetings dear community, happy #needleworkmonday! As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm making a floral arrangement for my nephew who will soon be graduating from elementary school, which fills me with so much excitement. That's why I'm preparing everything in advance. I knew how to make the rose because I've made many before, but I'd never made the greenery, so I decided to look for a tutorial on YouTube to guide me. I found one that explained how to make the entire rose, followed it, and I loved the result! 😊

Para la rosa usé hilo acrílico en dos tonos de azul y ganchillo de 2.5mm, hice 55 cadenas de base para que la final obtener 18 pétalos, es decir que se trabaja múltiplo de 3 mas 1, hice una hilera de 55 puntos altos (36 azul claro y 19 azul oscuro), en las hileras siguientes cambie de color de hilo cuando correspondía, luego una hilera cada 3 puntadas hice grupos de 3 puntos altos juntos separados por una cadena, en la tercera hilera en cada uno de los agujeros dejados en la hilera anterior hice dos grupos de 3 puntos altos separados por una cadena y con una cadena de separación entre grupos de puntos, para la cuarta y ultima hilera hice 10 puntos altos en los agujeros grandes y 1 punto abajo en los agujeros pequeños. Para finalizar con silicón pegué en forma de espiral en un palillo de altura para formar la rosa.

For the rose, I used acrylic yarn in two shades of blue and a 2.5mm crochet hook. I made 55 foundation chains to create 18 petals, meaning the chain is a multiple of 3 plus 1. I worked a row of 55 double crochet stitches (36 in light blue and 19 in dark blue). In subsequent rows, I changed yarn colors as needed. Then, every 3 stitches in each row, I made groups of 3 double crochet stitches together, separated by a chain stitch. In the third row, in each of the holes left in the previous row, I made two groups of 3 double crochet stitches separated by a chain stitch, with a chain stitch separating each group of stitches. For the fourth and final row, I worked 10 double crochet stitches in the larger holes and 1 single crochet stitch in the smaller holes. Finally, I glued the rose in a spiral shape using hot glue.

Con hilo verde y ganchillo de 3mm en un anillo mágico hice 6 grupos de puntos altos separados por una cadena, para centrar hice dos puntos deslizados, luego en cada agujero dejado en la hilera anterior hice 1 punto bajo, 1 punto medio alto, 1 punto alto, 1 punto alto doble, 1 punto picot, 1 punto alto, 1 punto medio alto, 1 punto bajo y 1 punto deslizado, luego pegué con silicón introduciendo el palito por le centro del anillo mágico, yo usé alfileres mientras se pegaba por usé silicón líquido, pero en el video usaban silicón caliente para esta parte y creo que es más rápido.

Using green yarn and a 3mm crochet hook, I made 6 groups of double crochet stitches separated by a chain in a magic ring. To center them, I made two slip stitches. Then, in each hole left in the previous row, I made 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 1 treble crochet, 1 picot, 1 double crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet, and 1 slip stitch. Then I glued it with silicone, inserting the stick through the center of the magic ring. I used pins while it was gluing because I used liquid silicone, but in the video they used hot silicone for this part, and I think it's faster.

En el video hacían tres hojas por rosa, pero yo solo hice una, con hilo verde y ganchillo de 3mm hice 10 cadenas de base, en la primera hilera hice 10 puntos bajos de cada lado de las cadenas escondiendo alambre galvanizado entre las puntadas, es decir que serían 20 puntos bajos, en la segunda hilera de cada lado hice 1 punto bajo, 1 punto medio alto, 1 punto alto, 4 puntos altos dobles, 1 punto alto, 1 punto medio alto, 1 punto bajo, en la tercera hilera repetí 1 punto deslizado y 1 cadena por todo el borde. Para finalizar envolví palillo de altura con el hilo verde junto con el alambre de la hoja.

In the video, they made three leaves per rose, but I only made one. Using green yarn and a 3mm crochet hook, I made 10 foundation chains. In the first row, I made 10 single crochet stitches on each side of the chains, hiding galvanized wire between the stitches, for a total of 20 single crochet stitches. In the second row, on each side, I made 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 double crochet, 4 treble crochets, 1 double crochet, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet. In the third row, I repeated 1 slip stitch and 1 chain stitch all the way around the edge. To finish, I wrapped the tall dowel with the green yarn along with the wire from the leaf.
