Saludos querida comunidad, hace unos días se comunicó una cliente conmigo, me dijo que le había obtenido mi contacto gracias a uno de mi amigos y clientes que viven en otra ciudad, algo que me apreció muy lindo porque eso significa que les han gustado tanto mis trabajos anteriores que me han recomendado con otras personas, ella llegó con una idea muy específica y me envió una imagen de referencia cuyo autor desconozco, esta era de un Snoopy abrazando a su mejor amigo el pájaro Woddstock, pidió que el Snoopy midiera 15 cm y el Woddstock 8cm, para no equivocarme en las proporciones hice un boceto en papel y preferí hacer la figura mas pequeña primero, de eso modo no tendría problemas cuando hiciera la segunda figura, entonces hoy les comparto mi experiencia haciendo al hermoso Woodstock 😊

Greetings, dear community! A few days ago, a client contacted me. She said she got my contact information from a friend and client who lives in another city, which I really appreciated because it means they liked my previous work so much that they recommended me to others. She came to me with a very specific idea and sent me a reference image whose author I don't know. It was of Snoopy hugging his best friend, Woodstock. She asked for Snoopy to be 15 cm tall and Woodstock 8 cm. To avoid mistakes in the proportions, I made a sketch on paper and decided to make the smaller figure first. That way, I wouldn't have any problems when I made the larger one. So today, I'm sharing my experience making the adorable Woodstock with you! 😊

Proceso / Process

Trabajé con hilo acrílico colombiano y ganchillo de 1.25mm, inicié con la cabeza haciendo 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, 3 aumentos por 6 hileras, 2 hileras sin aumentos, luego 6 aumentos distribuidos solo en la mitad del numero de puntadas, luego 6 hileras de 30 puntos bajos, una hilera con 6 disminuciones y 2 hileras con 8 disminuciones, rellené antes de cerrar. Para el cuerpo hice 6 puntos bajos en un anillo, 6 aumentos por 3 hileras, 6 hileras de 24 puntos bajos, luego 3 disminuciones por 4 hileras, rellené y cosí el cuerpo a la cabeza.

I worked with Colombian acrylic thread and 1.25mm crochet hook, I started with the head making 6 single crochets in a ring, 3 increases for 6 rows, 2 rows without increases, then 6 increases distributed only in half the number of stitches, then 6 rows of 30 single crochets, one row with 6 decreases and 2 rows with 8 decreases, I filled in before closing. For the body I made 6 single crochets in a ring, 6 increases for 3 rows, 6 rows of 24 single crochets, then 3 decreases for 4 rows, stuffed and sewed the body to the head.

Luego hice las 5 puntas de cresta de haciendo 4 puntos bajos en un anillo y 1 aumento por 2 hileras, luego hice una o dos hilera más para las más altas, para las alas comencé con dos partes que luego uní, la primera con un anillo de 4 y una hilera de 2 aumentos para obtener 6 puntadas, para la segunda hice 2 aumentos más para obtener 8 y una hilera sin aumentos, las uní e hice 2 hileras de 14 puntadas, terminé con 2 disminuciones por 3 hileras. Hice las dos las iguales y las cosí a los lados del cuerpo.

Then I made the 5 crest points by making 4 single crochet stitches in a ring and 1 increase for 2 rows. Then I made one or two more rows for the highest points. For the wings, I started with two pieces which I then joined. The first piece was made with a ring of 4 stitches and a row of 2 increases to get 6 stitches. For the second piece, I made 2 more increases to get 8 stitches and a row without increases. I joined them and made 2 rows of 14 stitches. I finished with 2 decreases for 3 rows. I made both the same and sewed them to the sides of the body.

Para los pies comencé con un anillo de 4, hice 2 aumentos por 2 hileras para obtener 8, hice dos hileras sin aumentos, dividí en dos partes e hice 3 hileras de 4 puntadas en cada una, luego levanté 6 puntadas e hice 5 hileras, hice los dos iguales y las cosí al cuerpo. Para la cola hice 6 cadenas con 6 puntos bajos, hice dos y las cosí al cuerpo.

For the feet, I started with a ring of 4, made 2 increases for 2 rows to get 8, made two rows without increases, divided into two parts and made 3 rows of 4 stitches in each, then picked up 6 stitches and made 5 rows, made both the same and sewed them to the body. For the tail, I made 6 chains with 6 single crochet stitches, made two and sewed them to the body.
