When I got this Silver Eagle, it was the first year with the new reverse. I have to admit I sort of like it. Not better than the previous reverse, but I like it on it's own merits.

The detail in the feathers and the shape of the bird are interesting to me. I like the "W" mint mark too.

It's also an interesting date, with the three "2's" and the zero.

I tried to get a close up of the date, but it came out soft.
