As a family gift, I took home a bunch of half dollars and quarters and nickels.

Half dollars are interesting coins, with Kennedy on the front and the eagle on the back. But more interesting are the bi-centennial half dollars, which are tricky to find in change or from a bank.

I also got an entire roll of BU bi-centennial quarters that look very sharp.

The quarters would be graded "uncirculated" but they do show some standard "bag wear" and are not exactly prestine.

I remember as a child finding one of these in my change. I was convinced I had somehow found a coin from 1776

I"m not sure what to do with this change. It's unique enough to be collectible, but they are not rare or in high demand. I could spend them at face value, or get a gift card from coinstar, or I can just add them to the stack.

All together, it's about $55 face, but if I sold them individually, I might get $70 - $80 all together for their numismatics value.
