We had a Surprise Gift!

A friend of our surprised us with a very nice gift - one that we've looked into getting, but never had the resources to invest. It's a dehydrator! It's designed to work with fruits and vegetables, but it's also good for drying pasta, proofing bread and making jerky!

We're going to try all of it!

Have You Ever Used a Dehydrator Before?

We're still new to this and learning, so we are grateful for any advice or tips on drying fruit or vegetables. We'll be happy to pick your brains!

What a nice gesture from your friend @ironshield, I hope you can enjoy a lot of dehydration fruits and vegetables; Here we do not use this method to preserve vegetables, here we preserve them in oils
I take this opportunity to wish you a happy start to the week

Oh interesting, preserving vegetables in oils. I bet those taste good out of the can, do you use any spices with them? !WINE !ALIVE

I have not used one so far, but I tasted dried fruits. I like them, but of course the juicy fruits are much better than the dried fruits.

Hopefully someone with experience will write a few advices and tips on it. Good luck and all the best with this gift dehydrator, and with everything else.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
