We are alive and thriving! And stocking up for an uncertain near future.
Rising Prices
We're watching prices on chicken and beef rising very quickly. We have a guy, his name is Mario, and he hooks us up. So we make a quick drive out to Mario's and get our freezer stocked up.
We're seeing boneless chicken breast at the grocery store sold at $5.99/lb. That's crazy! And we're expecting prices to go up from there!
We purchased bulk boneless chicken breast from Mario at $4.75/lb. It's expensive, but better price than what we can get it at the grocery store today... and much better than we'd get it at the grocery store in the coming months.
So thanks Mario, for hooking us up with some chicken!

Hi Ironshield. We are right to be provident in this period of political and economic crisis. Watch the periods of storage of foods that can not be infinite and especially stores the food so as to consume them progressively by expiry date. For example, I keep pasta parcels with shorter deadlines in front of me and those with longer-term deadlines behind me. Finally check if the fridge works well and if there are insects that could devour your supplies in the cupboard. Stay safe, alert and !ALIVE

Always good to stock up when you can. If your local grid is unstable, you should probably get a small generator that will at least run your freezer. With all that meat in there, you may want an armed guard as well, lol.
