We Are Alive! May 1st, 2024 Door Knocking!
When I see signs like this, I do a 180 degree turn and walk politely away.
Today has been another day of door knocking, this has been my fifth (four hour) session walking around and knocking on doors. It's not for nothing, besides getting paid, it's alerting people who typically vote about what is going on with State politics and getting them prepped for November.
This is the guy we're trying to unseat in November, a big-government Democrat, who wants more tax money for all sorts of government programs.
His campaign shtick is all about "increased funding for..." which sound great until we think for a moment who is paying for this increase. Funding doesn't appear out of thin air, people actually have to surrender THEIR money to "increase funding for...". What if we would prefer to DECREASE funding for, keeping more money in OUR bank accounts.
This system is already over-funded, if there are funding problems, it's mismanagement of funds... ehem.
