Batallas, retratos, paisajes y ángeles, son algunas de las escenas que seguramente vamos a admirar cuando visitamos la Galería de Arte Nacional, en los cuadros expuestos en sus diferentes salas podremos disfrutar de una gran dosis de historia venezolana, además nos sentiremos a gusto por encontrar un lugar silencioso, bien iluminado y con un ambiente propicio para la observación artística, es genial poder ver que a lo largo de las diversas exposiciones se encuentran una serie de asientos de madera que sirven para tomar un descanso o simplemente para sentarse frente a determinada obra y observarla con mayor detenimiento, dándole la oportunidad a nuestra mente de realizar un viaje hacia lo desconocido y adentrarnos de lleno en aquella escena que se nos presenta.

Cuando vengo a la Galería me gusta pasear más que nada por las salas en donde se encuentran expuestas las pinturas, ya que son este tipo de expresiones artísticas las que más me llaman la atención, pues ver las pinceladas, el realismo y los detalles de esas obras es algo que me conmueve, es increíble ver como en muchas ocasiones un cuadro suele ser más impresionante que una fotografía, los rostros, los paisajes y las escenas internas suelen contar con una increíble naturalidad, que sirven de portal para nuestra imaginación y al mismo tiempo de inspiración para nuestro ser creativo.

Visitar la Galería de Arte Nacional es una experiencia fantástica, fácilmente podemos pasar allí horas y horas y no nos daríamos cuenta de que el tiempo va corriendo, es un sitio acogedor, muy amplio y con buenos servicios al visitante, en donde resalta un café que sirve unas preparaciones exquisitas, estos espacios ubicados dentro del denominado circuito museístico de Caracas los he visitado en múltiples oportunidades y siempre me encuentro con gratas y agradables sorpresas, que me impulsan a seguir planeando recorridos para acá cada cierto tiempo, llegar hasta la Galería es muy sencillo, la misma se encuentra sobre céntrica la Avenida México a un punto medio entre las estaciones Bellas Artes y Parque Carabobo de la Línea 1 del Sistema Metro de caracas.
