Seguros Mercantil Tower

Sometimes for work reasons I have to walk the streets of my city, this represents an ideal opportunity to capture various photographs of streets, squares, monuments and especially buildings that seem very interesting to me. Fortunately, in these times we have the advantage of having mobile devices capable of capturing images very quickly and even in full motion, these characteristics represent a great advantage since when there is not much time available, the practicality of these devices allows us to develop Multitask instantly.

While waiting for a client in an area called Plaza Venezuela (a well-known and crowded place in the city of Caracas) I had to shelter from the rain, which was intermittent throughout this area, so everything was delayed a little, but while I was standing under a kind of concrete porch I really liked seeing the wet floor, the gray sky, the somewhat dark environment and the contrast that all this made with the Mercantil Insurance Building, which with its red bricks and green glass windows, it seemed to be a place full of life in front of the storm that was surrounding it.

A veces por cuestiones de trabajo me toca recorrer las calles de mi ciudad, esto representa una oportunidad ideal para capturar diversas fotografías de calles, plazas, monumentos y especialmente de edificios que me parezcan muy interesantes. Afortunadamente en estos tiempos tenemos la ventaja de contar con dispositivos móviles capaces de capturar imágenes de forma muy rápida y estando incluso en pleno movimiento, estas características representan una gran ventaja ya que cuando no se dispone de mucho tiempo la practicidad de estos equipos nos permite desarrollar múltiples tareas de forma instantánea.

Mientras esperaba a un cliente en una zona llamada Plaza Venezuela (un lugar muy conocido y concurrido de la ciudad de Caracas) me tuve que resguardar de la lluvia, la cual se presentaba de forma intermitente sobre toda esta área, así que todo se retraso un poco, pero mientras estaba parado bajo una especie de pórtico de concreto me gusto mucho ver todo el piso mojado, el cielo gris, el ambiente algo oscuro y el contraste que todo esto hacia con el Edificio de Seguros Mercantil, el cual con sus ladrillos rojos y ventanales de vidrio verde, parecía ser un lugar lleno de vida frente a la tempestad que lo estaba rodeando.
