Hello everyone and all members of cinnamon cup coffee, how are you friends today? I hope that all of us are always healthy and happy in carrying out all our routines and work in this life. I again want to re-participate in this community to share stories and experiences about coffee shops in my city.
The coffee shop business in Indonesia, especially the city of Medan, is excited after being hit and suffering due to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020-2021. I still remember that sad moment, because many coffee shops and cafes are not allowed to dine in and can only take away. In Indonesia, coffee shops are a place to gather and meet and that makes many coffee shops have to close. Thankfully, the pandemic is over and the food and beverage business is starting to return and many new coffee shops have opened in my city. This time, I want to share my experience when I stopped at a new coffee shop in my city, namely Dee Foxy Coffee Shop.
Dee Foxy Coffee Shop
Dee Foxy Coffee Shop is one of the new coffee shops that is going viral in my city. This coffee shop is located at Sei Belutu Street no. 34, Medan City. This coffee shop is very easy to find because it is on the side of the road, besides that on Sei Belutu Street there are also many culinary and coffee shops that we can visit. Dee Foxy Coffee Shop also has a large car park area but because it is on a one-way street, we shouldn't miss it because it will be a hassle and a long way to turn around.
From the entrance gate, we can see benches and tables made of assembled iron. We can see the industrial and garden atmosphere in the outdoor part of this coffee shop. Dee Foxy Coffee Shop uses crushed gravel for the floor in its outdoor space. These pebbles make this coffee shop very attractive, besides the colors and cement floors are also the characteristics of a coffee shop with an industrial concept.
To make a green impression in the coffee shop, on the walls of the coffee shop, ornamental bamboo trees are planted in a row so that we still get a green impression from this coffee shop. These bamboo trees are still new, maybe in about a year this bamboo will grow taller. In addition, there are graffiti or wall paintings depicting foxes and flowers, maybe this is to match the name of this coffee shop.
Menu Options and How to Order
The ordering system at Dee Foxy Coffee Shop is self service. Every customer who comes here must go directly to the cashier to order food and drink orders, then, the customer will be called or wait for the order to be made by the barista. There are many choices of drinks that we can choose from here, for the coffee menu there are Americano, Sanger, Brown Sugar Coffee, Peanut Butter Coffee, Cold Brew Coffee, Coconut Coffee and Banana Coffee. For the non-coffee menu, we can choose a drink menu such as sparkling tea with various fruit flavors. Various menus with plant based such as taro, red velvet, or Matcha.
For main course options, there are rice boxes with various choices of side dishes such as Rice Bowl Dori, Rice Bowl Sambal Matah, or Rice Bowl Seafood. In addition to the main course, we can also choose the snacks menu, such as fried potatoes, chicken skin, crispy mushroom, corn dog mozzarella and croffles which are favorites of many customers at this coffee shop. I came in the afternoon with the weather still very hot, I chose to order Peanut Butter Coffee.

I believe, every coffee shop should have a special coffee menu and a coffee shop can recommend it when a coffee shop customer wants to order a coffee menu. Peanut Butter Coffee is a cold coffee drink made from delicious espresso, fresh milk and peanut butter. I immediately wanted to drink this cold coffee, the atmosphere was quite hot and I was also very thirsty at that time.
This Peanut Butter Coffee has a delicious and unique taste, we can taste milk coffee which has a slightly bitter taste with the sensation of peanut butter which has a savory, creamy and slightly salty taste. My advice, before drinking, stir well first so that the peanut butter is evenly distributed with the milk coffee. In addition, after drinking this coffee, we will feel full maybe because of the peanut butter used.

I loved it, the outside of this cafe looks very nice and attractive graffiti is great and those bamboos as you point out will grow and give a fresher and greener look to the place.
I would not have ordered that coffee, the reason I do not like peanut butter, but you apparently do, although it never hurts to try something new maybe in combination with the other things it will taste delicious, thanks for letting me know a place in your country, just like here in Venezuela many restaurants and cafes closed and went bankrupt due to the confinement.
I also like the outdoor part of this cafe, it looks greener and more beautiful, perfect for a crowded and hot city atmosphere.
Hahaha, why don't you like peanut butter? Is it because of allergies or because of the taste? I really like peanuts, and coffee with peanut butter is like combining two things I love. We hope that the business of cafes and coffee shops in Venezuela will recover quickly.
Basically about the peanut butter is the taste, I do not like it, here the coffee shops thrive, but with the pandemic some restaurants or called lunch shops closed definitively, but other ventures have emerged.
In my country if you know how to make an attractive lake with an air of grandeur and it is indeed of quality people will certainly visit it and stay, here there is a franchise called Paramo Café people are dying to go there, the products are good and recently I visited Don Elias Café and I also loved it, they have excellent service and products, in both places I must go to try other flavors of the menu, a big hug from Venezuela to you.

I can see the appeal with this coffee shop; Plus all the advantages of strategic location make it a winner.
I'm not sure how comfortable the dining area is, and the stone yard looks a bit barren, but I guess it all boils down to cheaper maintenance, and purchasing stones seems to be the popular option in Asia.

stone floors are becoming a popular choice for coffee shops in my city. We have plenty of river rocks to work with, and they're cheap too.
