What makes you happy?

Hello everyone, how are you all, it seems like it's been a long time since my fingers typed and said hello to my cyber friends. It's a long journey, but finally being able to write and share stories makes my heart very happy. Maybe for some people, writing is a burden. I don't know if it's because of work, but for me this could be called 'healing'.

At the beginning I asked, 'what makes you happy?' which actually made me a little confused, because the word 'happy' has many meanings. But what is clear, in my opinion, happiness is a feeling from the heart that makes us bloom, smile or hear good news. However, what makes me happy, I can answer with one word, namely; Eat.

Maybe it's very simple, we can even do it at least once a day, or maybe some do it more than 3 times a day. Eating is a very simple activity, but it all starts there. If you are hungry, your mood will be ruined for the whole day, even eating strange food will trigger big emotions.

Of course, eating isn't just about putting food in your mouth and digesting it. I don't mean that. The meaning is that you enjoy your food, it tastes delicious, fills you and makes your energy return. After you are angry and expend a lot of energy, then try to eat a little food that is really delicious to you, then you will be better. Is not it?

A Restaurant Serving Japanese Food

There is one restaurant that I often pass by, but unfortunately this simple restaurant is only open from afternoon to evening. As usual, from its shape it looks like it sells Japanese food. Of course, there are some highlights in the menu, very promising it seems.

Simple, because it is just on the side of the road and without fancy decorations. It's very simple, there are tents and also some ornaments that indicate this place will not promise anything. But apparently, I guessed wrong. One thing happened, I liked this restaurant. Especially in terms of price and taste of the food. Without a doubt, it's a Japanese restaurant that I would recommend.

A Plate with Chicken Curry

I got 1 plate of chicken curry which consists of several compartments. There was half of the contents of my plate in the form of curry (of course there were carrots, potatoes, onions and curry), then ¼ of the rice and the rest were pieces of chicken fillet fried in flour. Even though the curry looked very dark, it tasted very delicious.

I myself like curry, different from curry from the Middle East and Malays, Japanese curry has a different taste, slightly sweet, not spicy and tastes softer than Indian curry which is heavier on spices. In my opinion, the curry taste of the food I ordered was really delicious. Especially the ingredients are very soft from the cooking process. Perfectly cooked, but still crunchy on the onions.

A Plate with Chicken Teriyaki

In contrast to my wife who doesn't like rice, more precisely she is reducing carbohydrates because she is a diabetic. Choose to eat chicken teriyaki, without rice and with vegetable salad topped with mayonnaise. He was very happy, he said this teriyaki chicken really suited his taste buds. His face looked very happy, he couldn't wait to taste the contents of his plate. In fact he was almost angry because I delayed him from eating and I took his photo.

Even though the vegetable salad didn't look like the Japanese restaurant he liked, it was worth it for such a cheap price. The vegetables were fresh, but there was a lot of mayonnaise, so I had to separate it so it didn't make me nauseous.

This restaurant is quite busy, especially at night. Maybe many people want to try a Japanese restaurant with cheap prices. Who doesn't like Japanese food which is famous for being delicious with local wisdom.
