Hello everyone
How are you today ? I hope and pray that we are all always healthy and happy in this life. One thing I'm sure of, all the members of HiveGarden Community are always in a state of excitement and lots of inspiration. Because, every day in this community, we can see various posts about gardening, such as beautiful flower gardens or fresh vegetables from our own garden.

All original content is contributed by HiveGarden Community members from all over the world. That's why every week, I always try to contribute to this community by sharing the Garden Journal about stories, and my experiences during the week in my hydroponic garden.

During this week, rain continued to fall in almost all cities in Indonesia, and caused many areas and cities in Indonesia to be flooded. I often hear, rain is a blessing for agriculture and livestock because water is very important for this life. Just like when I take photos of my hydroponic garden. I really like the smell of my garden when it rains, especially seeing the water drops on the leaves. This time, I want to invite you to see the development of vegetables in my hydroponic garden.

Hydroponic Pakchoy Conditions
We start my weekly hydroponic journal this time by looking at the condition of pakcoy in my hydroponic garden. If you often stop by my weekly hydroponic journal, pakchoy is a vegetable that almost fills 60% of the total number of holes in my hydroponic garden. I think pakchoy is a popular vegetable in Asia, and it is often made into a delicious stir fry in Chinese restaurants.

These photos are of my pakchoy which is about 26 days after seeding. Almost all of these pakchoy grow very fertile and optimally. The condition of this pakchoy looks more beautiful and green due to the rain that wets it making our eyes very cool to see it. I used a hydroponic liquid fertilizer solution with a concentration of about 1200 ppm this week. The continuous rainy conditions in the afternoon forced me to increase the use of fertilizers in my hydroponic garden. My plan, I will harvest this pakchoy in about 3-4 days.

1665408662756.jpg
In addition, I also have pakhoy which is 19 days after sowing. I planted about 250 pots of pakchoy for this period. That means, I can still maintain the cycle of planting and harvesting for pakchoy. For 250 pots of this pakchoy, I used a liquid fertilizer solution of about 1300 ppm to prepare the media that will often be exposed to rainwater seepage which has the potential to lower the ppm concentration. If the weather is sunny and it doesn't rain often, I usually use hydroponic liquid fertilizer with a concentration of 1000-1050 ppm only. This vegetable grows very well and optimally, almost no problem is too heavy. Perhaps, only a few leaves were attacked by mice.

This week, I am sorting out pakchoy that are either stunted or stunted. From about 400 pots of pakchoy, I found about 30 pots of pakchoy whose growth was stunted or pakhoy that was damaged because the leaves were eaten by rats. I began to make peace with this rat attack, because I have not found a solution to the rat attack. Do you guys have a solution?

Hydroponic Kangkong Conditions

1665408662442.jpg
Kangkong grows very fast, it even makes it very difficult for me to keep this kangkong cycle awake. Last week, I had kangkong with a planting age of about 14 days after sowing and only four days after I made a weekly garden journal last week, I harvested the kangkong. I got six kilograms from that crop.

In addition, I also have kangkong with a planting age of 14 days after sowing. Kangkong in the rainy season has a different texture and shape. Kangkong is a vegetable that has an elongated texture, and when the wind is strong it will be easy to fall. You can see in this photo of my kale, it looks like it's about to fall.

The process of growing kangkong in hydroponics is indeed very fast, that's why every week I also always sow kangkong. I'm like I'm stuck in the kale planting cycle in my life, every week I do the kangkong seeding, take care of the kangkong in the media and it doesn't feel like it's time to harvest.

Hydroponic Lettuce Condition
Lettuce is one of the most beautiful vegetables to grow in a hydroponic system. The curly shape of the lettuce, and the green leaves will be very beautiful. I have two lettuce with different planting ages in my hydroponic garden. First, I have lettuce that is about to be harvested in my hydroponic garden. I can't wait to harvest it.

1665410212197.jpg
I haven't harvested this lettuce because I don't have a replacement lettuce seed for me to transfer to the planting medium to replace the lettuce that I will harvest. The lettuce seeds that I will be sowing may only be transferred to the planting medium in about 2-3 days. I will try to match the harvest schedule with the condition of the seedlings to be moved. I don't want my hydroponic media to look empty because I don't plan on planting vegetable seeds to be transplanted after harvest.

In addition, I also have lettuce with a planting age of about 19 days after sowing. I don't plant too much of this lettuce, but all of them grow very fertile and optimally. I think, this lettuce is a vegetable that is almost recognized all over the world. Lettuce can be a garnish or eaten as a salad. For information, many vegan cuisines in Indonesia use lettuce with delicious peanut sauce.

Okay, this is my weekly hydroponic journal this time. See you next week friends.

hello @maytom thank you for stopping by
I thought so too, very annoyed with this rat attack. Uncontrolled and make losses for hydroponic farmers like me.

Your crops are always looking great my friend. As for me, I am still not able to start my dream of aquaponics/hydrophonics.
