Stop Violence Against Cats (My Cat Was Doused With Hot Lubricants)
Hello everyone and Hive Pets Community, how are you guys today? I hope you are all healthy always and keep the spirit going through all the routines and activities. I also want to wish everyone a happy new year, and have a nice year-end holiday.
One of the challenges for pet lovers is caring for or conditioning each of their pets during the holidays. We will be faced with a dilemma. First, the situation of us who want to go on vacation and how the condition of our pets when we stay for vacation. I keep two domestic cats, and every time I go on vacation I usually leave my cat outside and leave the dry food cat to my neighbor.
When I returned home, I was very surprised to hear from my neighbour. He told me, if someone (my little cat) was doused with hot oil. That's quite surprising news for our housing. As far as we know, the people in our neighborhood are very friendly to cats and other pets. We suspect that this violence was perpetrated by "guests" from our neighbors. If I find out who did it, I plan to report it to the police.
Violence against pets (such as cats or dogs) is common in Indonesia. Every week and month there is news about violence against cats and dogs. Various tragedies or accidents often occur, such as hitting a cat, dousing a cat with hot water, even in the worst case there is a case of eating a cat for reasons of treatment. In addition, there is also a lot of news about violence against dogs, and the bad news is that our country is one of the countries that consumes the most dog meat. In fact, we all know and agree that dog meat is not a food product.
I am grateful to have good neighbors. My neighbor immediately cleaned the oil residue that was stuck to my little cat's body. He compared the cat with a lot of soap so that the oil marks would not stick and damage the skin.
I immediately bought him a cat necklace. My hope is that people will know that this cat has an owner and should not be treated like that. I try to think positively, if people who water my cat think my cat is a stray cat. Although, it wasn't an action a normal human would do.
After the tragedy, this cat did not stop to follow me everywhere. I can also feel the feelings from my cat, about the violence she is experiencing. I don't want this tragedy to happen again, I hope and pray that pet violence never happens again. It takes education for everyone and also law enforcement against the perpetrators.

Wow.. That is really sad to hear that someone actually eats these cute animals and mistreat them. I also have three cats at home. They are like my family... My cats forgot that it is a cat.. hahaha.. always sleep on the sofa... Hope that ur cat is alrite bro.. Happy New Year 2022.

my cat is like that too, he often sleeps on my bed and sofa. Several corners of the house were also damaged by it.

it's hard to imagine a human being could do that so boldly, but that's a fact and a fact. Many people think of animals as something that can be hurt at will.
thankfully, my cat is in good condition and still lively as usual.
Oh no - the poor baby. Great you got him a collar. But yes, cruelty to animals is terrible and something that is abhorrent. Glad your little one was not hurt more.
