I am also very happy, to finally be given the time and opportunity to participate again in the Cinnamons Cup Coffee Community, a community where we share stories and experiences about our coffee experience.

According to friends, what is the function of a coffee shop for you? if friends asked me five years ago, my answer would have been very simple and easy. The coffee shop is our place to drink coffee. However, if I am currently asked what does a coffee shop do for me? I can give many answers. But, for now, I enjoy coffee shops as my ideal workplace.

I am a person who enjoys working in a coffee shop. Almost every week, I will go to the coffee shop to working and sometimes also for find inspiration at the coffee shop. As I did some time ago when visiting a local coffee shop in my city.

Some time ago, I visited Omad Coffee, a local coffee shop located not far from where I live. Omad Coffee is located at Perjuangan Street no. 98 A Medan Sunggal District – Medan City. This coffee shop is only about 3 km from where I live and makes the coffee shop a strategic coffee shop for me.

I came to this coffee shop when it was late afternoon. At that time, Omad Coffee had started to be visited by many people with various activities and events. Omad Coffee has many reasons for everyone to visit. The coffee shop provides a cozy and aesthetic hangout place for its visitors. Apart from that, Omad Coffee is also designed in a very beautiful and instagramable way, and is suitable for friends who are active on social media.

I have to admit, this outdoor space from Omad Coffee looks really nice. The outdoor section is perfect for use if we come with friends or a busier group. However, if I want to work casually and comfortably, I'd choose the indoor section of Omad Coffee.

This indoor space from Omad Coffee has all the requirements I need to be able to do a work form coffee shop. The place is very clean, with a predominance of white paint around which gives visitors a comfortable impression. The position of the table and the seats are also very strategic and comfortable, designed with the right height for us to be able to do activities using a laptop comfortably.

We don't need to worry when our devices, such as cellphones and laptops will run out of battery while working at Omad Coffee. In each seat of the indoor space, this coffee shop provides a power outlet, so that every visitor who comes does not fight over the power plug. Don't forget, free high-speed wifi is also very important to support work activities while at a coffee shop, and Omad Coffee has that.

In addition, the air conditioning works very well so that the temperature in the room is well controlled. Medan City, the city where I live, has a tropical climate with very hot weather, so the need for an indoor room with air conditioning is something that is mandatory for me if I want to working in a coffee shop during the day.

Lastly, the most important thing for me is of course, it's the coffee. As a coffee shop, Omad Coffee had of coffee and non-coffee drink menus for us to enjoy at this coffee shop. The choice of coffee beans is also very varied, Omad Coffee uses high-quality Arabica coffee beans from various regions in Indonesia so that we can choose and try them.

So, what is the most suitable coffee menu to accompany us to work in a coffee shop? For me, there is no coffee menu that is more perfect to accompany our work than Iced Americano. Of course, not all Iced Americano I can drink for work, I can only drink Iced Americano made using arabica coffee beans.

Why is it like that ? because that's my taste, for me arabica coffee beans feel more comfortable on my tongue and stomach. Of course I can drink Robusta coffee beans, but I feel it goes better with milk or sugar. For sure, this Ice Americano from Omad Coffee is perfect for me to enjoy while working.

One thing I suggest for friends who want to work in a coffee shop, is don't hesitate to order additional menus if you are going to be active for a long time at that place. Try to imagine if you as a business owner, there is a customer who orders a cup of coffee and then uses all the facilities in the coffee shop such as electricity and wifi for hours, of course it doesn't look pretty to look at.
