¿Cual es tu momento y tu lugar favorito para leer?

Al momento de leer lo primero que busco es comodidad, tranquilidad y buena iluminación, por ello mi habitación es el lugar perfecto para leer, pues mi cama tiene una muy buena orientación respecto a la ventana que deja pasar suficiente luz para llevar a cabo una lectura sin dificultades, coloco dos almohadas bajo mi cabeza de manera que mantenga mi cabeza ligeramente elevada, normalmente en mi casa no hay mucho ruido, si el televisor del cuarto contiguo tiene muy alto volumen simplemente cierro la puerta y el ruido disminuye de manera considerable.

Me gusta leer entre las 3 y 5 de la tarde momento del día en que con frecuencia ya me he desocupado de algunos quehaceres y tengo suficiente energía y capacidad de concentración, además de que a esta hora la habitación tiene muy buena iluminación.

¿Qué hace que disfrutes un libro?

Me considero un lector de literatura, me gustan las novela y los cuentos, por lo que disfruto siempre de una buena historia, pero para mí, es necesario que dichas historias tengan un lenguaje claro y sencillo, en mi mente veo las historias como una película, de manera que cuando un texto posee una gran cantidad de palabras rebuscadas, o la historia se torna compleja o confusa por alguna razón, mi cerebro no es capaz de procesar la información y las imágenes tipo película se desvanecen en mi mente, algo que finalmente hacen que abandone el libro, pues considero una pérdida de tiempo leer palabras sin comprenderlas, con la esperanza de que más adelante en el texto mi mente sea capaz de construir nuevamente la historia.

¿Te gusta leer en exteriores, antes de acostarte, o en el bus cuando vas camino al trabajo?

Leer en exteriores debe ser una bonita experiencia si tienes silencio y un buen lugar en donde establecerte de manera cómoda, pero es algo que nunca he hecho. Me gustaría poder hacerlo en algún momento, y hacerlo en compañía de alguien con quien compartir la lectura.

Ahora bien, considero que antes de dormir es el peor momento para leer, a menos que nuestro objetivo sea vencer el insomnio, pero leer tarde en la noche no tiene sentido para mí, finalmente me termino durmiendo e incluso olvidando lo que leí. De igual forma considero el autobús un pésimo lugar para leer, en primer lugar porque los conductores siempre colocan música con un volumen estruendoso, además de que es música horrible, jamás he visto que n conductor de bus tenga buenos gustos musicales y en segundo lugar, me resulta imposible leer en un vehículo en movimiento, me mareo con facilidad y puedo terminar vomitando.

Definitivamente leer en un parque bajo la sombra de un árbol sería el lugar perfecto para mi en sustitución de mi habitación.

¿Te enfocas en el desarrollo del personaje, mensajes reflexivos, o el nivel de intriga que el argumento te genera?

Creo que las tres cosas son importantes para mí, pienso que no son muchos los textos literarios de los cuales he podido sacar una reflexión, pero cuando puedo hacerlo, esto me hace valorar mucho más el texto de manera positiva.

Creo que el desarrollo del personaje y el nivel de intriga de la historia, van de la mano, sin lo primero difícilmente habrá lo segundo. Pero en ocasiones los personajes son simples, muchas veces estos tienen un perfil muy básico, lo mínimo necesario para desenvolverse en una historia bien construida. Por lo tanto, diría que el nivel de intriga en la historia es finalmente lo que no puede faltar en un texto, es lo que te mantiene allí, lo que hace que quieras seguir adelante, y que las páginas pasen sin darte cuenta, llegas a final de libro antes de lo esperado, la historia te puede absorber completamente.

What is your favorite time and place to read?

When reading the first thing I look for is comfort, tranquility and good lighting, so my room is the perfect place to read, because my bed has a very good orientation with respect to the window that lets in enough light to carry out a reading without difficulties, I place two pillows under my head so that my head is slightly elevated, usually in my house there is not much noise, if the TV in the next room has very high volume simply close the door and the noise decreases considerably.

What makes you enjoy a book?

I consider myself a reader of literature, I like novels and short stories, so I always enjoy a good story, but for me, it is necessary that these stories have a clear and simple language, in my mind I see the stories like a movie, so when a text has a lot of complex words , or the story becomes complex or confusing for some reason, my brain is not able to process the information and the movie-like images fade in my mind, something that finally make me abandon the book, because I consider it a waste of time to read words without understanding them, with the hope that later in the text my mind will be able to build the story again.

Do you like to read outdoors, before bedtime, or on the bus on your way to work?

Reading outdoors must be a nice experience if you have silence and a good place to settle down comfortably, but it's something I've never done. I would like to be able to do it at some point, and do it in the company of someone to share the reading with.

Now, I consider that before bedtime is the worst time to read, unless our goal is to beat insomnia, but reading late at night makes no sense to me, I eventually end up falling asleep and even forgetting what I read. I also consider the bus a terrible place to read, first of all because the drivers always play loud music, besides it is horrible music, I have never seen a bus driver with good musical likes and secondly, I find it impossible to read in a moving vehicle, I get dizzy easily and I can end up vomiting.

Definitely reading in a park under the shade of a tree would be the perfect place for me as a replace for my room.

Do you focus on character development, thoughtful messages, or the level of intrigue the plot generates for you?

I think all three are important to me, I think there are not many literary texts from which I have been able to draw a reflection, but when I am able to do so, it makes me value the text much more positively.

I think that character development and the level of intrigue of the story go hand in hand, without the former there will hardly be the latter. But sometimes the characters are simple, many times they have a very basic profile, the minimum necessary to develop in a well-constructed story. Therefore, I would say that the level of intrigue in the story is finally what can not be missing in a text, is what keeps you there, what makes you want to keep going, and that the pages turn without realizing it, you get to the end of the book before expected, the story can absorb you completely.
