I found a flower Hibiscus lasiocarpos while exploring my sorroundings (EN/ES)
Hello friends from Hive, today I want to share with you the pictures of a flower that I found when I went into a natural area to plan the planting of some fruit and vegetable plants. Along the way I came across different flowers and one special one caught my attention so I didn't hesitate to take pictures of it to share them with you.
With a shining sun this white flower with a fuchsia center shone and stood out in the greenery of the bushes, I was delighted to see how the shadow of its pistil was projected on the same petals of the flower.
In my attempt to identify this flower I have come to the conclusion that it is a flower belonging to the species Hibiscus lasiocarpos, which according to Wikipedia is native to the Southeastern United States, in California and Northern Mexico, so I imagine that it has been introduced in part of South America unless it is another species. Of this same species is the well-known Cayenne that is very used as ornamental plant in my country, it is very similar to this one, but the Cayenne is much bigger and of wider petals.
Thank you very much for your attention
