Tocando Blind de Korn: un tema de culto para los fanaticos dela banda (ES/EN)

Hola amigos de Hive, en un post anterior les hablé acerca de que me encuentro aprendiéndome un setlist de Greatest Hits de Korn para hacer una banda tributo. En esta oportunidad, quiero compartir con ustedes el cover de Blind, un tema muy icónico de la banda que es casi de culto para los fans.

Hi friends from Hive , in a previous post I told you about how I'm learning a setlist of Korn's Greatest Hits to make a tribute band. This time, I want to share with you the cover of Blind, a very iconic song of the band that is almost cult for the fans.

Blind fue lanzado en 1994 en su álbum debut homónimo, y según Wikipedia, su vocalista Jonathan Davis, explica que la canción trata sobre su depresión y el hecho de que nadie a su alrededor de los que disfrutaban de su compañía notara el estado depresivo que atravesaba, por ello se titula Blind “Ciego”.

Blind was released in 1994 on their eponymous debut album, and according to Wikipedia, vocalist Jonathan Davis, explains that the song is about his depression and the fact that no one around him who enjoyed his company noticed the depressive state he was going through, hence the title "Blind".

Para tocar este tema se afina la guitarra en LA (A) Standard, en guitarras 7 cuerdas, aunque esta canción la puedes tocar con una de 6 cuerdas pues la cuerda que falta no se utiliza. Para saber cómo se tocaba observé un video en Youtube en donde el mismo Munky, guitarrista de la banda explica paso a paso como tocarla, de manera que la interpretación es tal cual la toca la banda.

To play this song the guitar is tuned to A (A) Standard, on 7 string guitars, although you can play this song with a 6 string guitar because the missing string is not used. To know how to play it I watched a video on Youtube where Munky himself, guitarist of the band explains step by step how to play it, so the interpretation is as the band plays it.

Pronto estaré compartiendo con ustedes los temas A.D.I.D.A.S y Clown, los cuales aún debo aprenderme para el primer ensayo con la banda en donde tocaremos 4 temas.

Soon I will be sharing with you the songs A.D.I.D.A.S and Clown, which I still have to learn for the first rehearsal with the band where we will play 4 songs.

Hm, maybe he indeed felt alone in his depression and the fat nobody noticed it made him even more depressive. People not always can notice it even when someone needs help. That is a bit sad.

I listened to you for the first time now. That was some hard sound, I mean, it was cool :)
