¡Así van mis tomates! [Esp/Eng]

Hello my dear friends of Hivegarden! I hope you are doing great and that your gardens are too.

Today I spent part of the afternoon visiting the vegetable garden we have near our house to check how the paprika and tomato plants are doing, as well as to do some necessary cleaning, and to water the plants a bit, since, although there has been some rain, it has been very little.

So, we have had to do more and more to keep the small plants from getting lost, and also to get some fruits.

Here I show you how my tomato plants are doing. The truth is that I would have liked them to have a better size and color, and to tell the truth, I thought I would not be able to harvest some fruit, but thanks to the effort, we have been able to see that the plants have responded well, so, this is how my tomatoes look like:

After transplanting, it takes about 45 days for the plants to start to load, and depending on the climate and soil, they may be a little earlier to do so.

My recommendation is always to plant in a soil that can retain moisture.

In my case, the soil is very sandy, so, this can cause the plant to suffer stress due to evaporation and the high degree of heat that can be in the roots for not having humid, so it is better to take into account that detail.

Do they look nice to you?

Each of the tomatoes that you see, have come to weigh just over 200gr, which makes them a product that is good for sale, since consumers prefer mostly medium-sized tomatoes, and although I have not decided whether we will sell or not, we are seeing it as a possibility, as they are of good harvest.

What do you think? At first, I did not believe that I could even harvest just one, but fortunately we have been able to harvest some more than others, as you see in the picture, I had to take one that is just maturing, this to be able to see how the growth was and see what things were missing in the plant itself.

On the other hand, I also noticed that some of them fell to the ground before maturing, it is possible that some bird did it, or that it happened because of a lack of some component in the plant, but, whatever it is, the truth is that they are really beautiful products.

How many tomatoes per plant? Actually, I vary a lot, but in this one you can see, 1,2,3,4,5.... Maybe 8 or 9, but as you know not all will develop in the same way, so some will be left for my own consumption at home.

In some plants, I have added commercial abobo triple 15, which is a compound of potassium, phosphorus and mitogen, which makes the plant can produce many fruits, but also, that these are of quality, which is what interests us mostly.

Well, this is how my tomatoes are doing, friends, I hope that your orchards are also as beautiful as I see mine.

I send you a hug.

Those tomatoes are nice. As for me, my tomatoes are having a hard time because the full might of summer here in our country is still in full effect. I wish to grow the same tomatoes as yours when the rainy season comes.

Don't think we've had a great time, in fact, they really should be doing better, but the summer has been relentless.

I hope you can have a good harvest my friend, I really hope so.
