Conociendo a una Mantis [Esp/Eng]

Hola queridos amigos!

Espero que estén teniendo una bonita semana, y que además sus familias estén muy bien.

Quiero compartir una pequeña visita que tuvimos de una interesante amiga, y que, por tanto años, no había visto.

De hecho, tan solo creía que estás aparecían en Australia talvez, pero no, una mañana, esta pequeña amiga tan solo llegó a casa para hacer una visita muy breve, pero muy emocionantes para mí y mi esposa.

Ya conozco algunas características de estás Mantis, y realmente son sorprendente, y eso lo hace mucho más llamativa.

Pero siempre me pregunté, ¿que porqué se le dice Mantis religiosa?

Pues es básicamente por sus patas delanteras alargadas, y que como se doblan al frente de sí, hace la idea de que si estuviera haciendo una oración. ¿Interesante? Muchísimo.

Pensé en que quizás haya llegado a casa a comer algunos grillos o moscas, que por la época de invierno han aparecido, pero además, sé que también les encanta devorar algunos insectos que se posan en las plantas, incluso comen a sus mismas especies 😱😱

Pero está llegó sola a casa, y estaba entre una de las plantas ornamentales que tenemos, pero, sabía que también habían algunos animales dañando las plantas de tómate, así que fue mejor su visita. 🤗🤗🤗

Por otro lado, no estaba demás sacar algunas fotografías junto a ella, y pues, que lindo son estas espectaculares insectos, que según se dice, hay más de 24000 especies.

Jamás había tenido una en la mano, y sí, creí que podría haberme mordido, pero la verdad es que no, son insectos totalmente inofensivos, cuando se trata de humanos.

Sentí tus patas aserradas, pero en ningún momento hice un movimiento brusco que la alertara, sino que, mientras tomaba fotografía, ella simplemente se subió a mi teléfono, y luego a mi mano, dónde tuve suficiente miedo. 😜😜😜

¿Qué cosas me llamaron la atención?

Obviamente, hay muchas cosas interesantes, como sus ojos, su cabeza que puede girar en 180 grados, o su capacidad de escucha los sonidos que los humanos no pueden escuchar, como el de los murciélagos, y así por estilo, y vaya que son sumamente interesante.

Así como qué, es una de las especies que tiene su oído en el tórax, lo cual es sumamente intrigante, talvez eso sea lo que haga que escuche más.

I want to share a little visit we had from an interesting friend, and one that, for so many years, I had not seen.

In fact, I only thought they appeared in Australia perhaps, but no, one morning, this little friend just came home for a very brief, but very exciting visit for me and my wife.

I thought that maybe she has come home to eat some crickets or flies, which by the winter season have appeared, but in addition, I know that they also love to devour some insects that land on the plants, even eat their own species 😱😱.

But this one came home alone, and it was among one of the ornamental plants we have, but, I knew there were also some animals damaging the tomato plants, so it was better her visit. 🤗🤗🤗

On the other hand, it was not out of place to take some pictures with her, and well, how cute are these spectacular insects, which it is said, there are more than 24000 species.

I had never held one in my hand, and yes, I thought it might have bitten me, but the truth is no, they are totally harmless insects, when it comes to humans.

I felt your legs sawing, but at no point did I make a sudden movement that would alert her, but rather, as I was taking picture, she just climbed on my phone, and then on my hand, where I was scared enough. 😜😜😜

What things caught my attention?

Obviously, there are many interesting things, like their eyes, their head that can turn 180 degrees, or their ability to listen to sounds that humans can't hear, like bats, and so on, and boy are they extremely interesting.
