Our dear Dominic [Eng/Esp]

Hello friends, I'm back to tell you a little bit about Dominic, our pet and faithful friend.

First of all, it's hard not to think about my friend Tobby, who passed away a few months ago, and well, the place where I buried him, is a place where I always go, and he is always there, I remember him as if it was yesterday.

It has been a little hard to cope, but with a little time, it will heal what is causing us anguish today.

What about Dominic?

He is very big, he is already a teenager, and he is also very responsible, although sometimes I worry about him.

A few weeks ago, he started with the bad practice of chasing car tires, and to tell the truth, on many occasions we saw that his life was about to be lost.

However, after some scolding, he has settled down, and it is no longer so frequent, which in a way relieves me, as he is a great companion.

Recently, we went to the orchard to work, and he is already in the habit of accompanying us and playing along the way, and during the whole session, he was simply by my side, opening some holes, and also helping me to take soil from some places, it was quite comical, because after I opened a space, he would go and lay down there.

While other times, he just falls asleep while I am doing some work in the garden, I know he rests all day to be awake at night. But I dare say he is watching out for me almost every moment.

On the other hand, I am still thinking about putting a collar on him and training him to be always close to me, because I have already had problems where he runs too far ahead of me, and sometimes he does not notice the cars, and it is very dangerous, sometimes it happens to me while I am riding the bike, but it is nothing he can learn.

I taught him to sit still before I gave him his food. And every time I go to serve him, he sits like a little kid and just waits for me to serve him, like I'm his servant hehe.

I just hope he stays with us, and we can continue to be good friends.

Hola amigos, ho vuelvo a hablarles un poco sobre Dominic, nuestra mascota y fiel amigo.

Antes que nada, es difícil no pensar en mi amigo Tobby, que falleció hasta unos meses, y pues, el lugar donde lo enterré, es un lugar donde frecuento siempre, y siempre está allí, lo recuerdo tanto como si hubiese sido ayer.

Ha sido un poco difícil sobrellevar, pero con un poco de tiempo, sanará lo que hoy nos causa angustia.

¿Qué les cuento sobre Dominic?

Está muy grande, ya es un adolescente, y que además, es muy responsable, aunque a veces me preocupe.

Hace unas semanas, comenzó con la mala práctica de perseguir a los cauchos de los autos, y a decir verdad, en muchas ocasiones vimos que su vida estuviera a punto de perderse.

No obstante, después de algunos regaños, ha sentado cabeza, y ya no es tan frecuente, lo que de una manera me alivia, pues es un gran compañero.

Hace poco, fuimos a la huerta a trabajar, y ya el tiene por costumbre acompañarnos y jugar por el camino, y durante toda la sesión, el simplemente estaba a mi lado, abriendo algunos huecos, y también ayudándome a sacar tierra de algunos lugares, fue bastante cómico, porque después de que yo abriera un espacio, el iba y se acostaba allí.

Mientras que otras veces, solo se queda dormido mientras yo estoy haciendo algún trabajo en la huerta, ya sé que descansa todo el día para estar despierto en la noche. Pero me atrevo a decir que está pendiente de mi casi a cada instante.

Por otro lado, aún estoy pensando en colocarle un collar y entrenarlo a que esté siempre cerca de mí, pues ya he tenido problemas dónde corre muy delante de mi, y a veces no se da cuenta de los autos, y es muy peligroso, a veces me sucede mientras voy manejando la bicicleta, pero no es nada que él pueda aprender.

Le enseñe a qué se quedara sentado antes de que le diera la comida. Y cada vez que le voy a servir, se sienta como un niño pequeño y solo espera a que le sirva, como si yo fuera su sirviente jeje

Solo espero que siga con nosotros, y podamos seguir siendo buenos amigos.
