Hello Hive Learners Fam!!!

I hope you are doing well and enjoying your day. I got skin burn/rashes on my body because of harsh weather in last few days. This issue was extreme that's why I can't submit my entry to Creative Sunday yesterday. But I am excited to share today's blog which is my submission to HL Weekly Featured Content topic Difficult to Grasp for week 170 episode 1.

Without much ado let's start it below 👇:

Learning is part of life. The journey of learning starts in the womb and ends at the grave. It's not always easy to learning things whether it is skill, subject, art or language etc. There is always something that question our Intelligence and confidence. Mostly people found Public Speaking challenging to learn but for me it's not public speaking but it is English Speaking.

English isn't my first language. But it's official language in Pakistan. My country have Urdu as the national language. We have some provincial languages too and I'm familiar with them. I write, read and understand English well. It's very rare I have to speak in English with someone. I teach in English Grammar School but I don't have to deliver the whole lecture in English. The use of the language in the lecture is 30% because we know student will haven't clear understanding because they are on the learning stage now.

I'm not sure about the accurate pronunciation of the words. I have to check the exact pronunciation of the words from Google daily. My friends who have chatted with me in Discord must be aware of it. I do well in chatting but in voice I don't do much well. I remember once I pronounced Ecency as "Ekency" and hearing that @aslamrer laugh hard. Thank you for the correction man.

I remembered when I pronounce Procedure as Pro-C-dure. I'm always confused about the exact pronunciation of Rain Guage. It was hard for me to differentiate the sound of Density and Dynasty. Nothing is served in a plate. If we wanna grow and make progress we have to learn and improve. I'm trying to practice more and deliver much of the lecture in English. I followed English sentences while communication with my colleagues and co-ordinator. I haven't reflected my hesitation in English speaking before them. Because they are in search of best. We are being hire as teacher for being best and teach best to the student.

Well I'm making consistent efforts to improve this skill. I bought an oxford dictionary for learning vocabulary. I will plan language course for 3-4 months to learn it soon. I'm not afraid of learning. I assumed it as an opportunity to switch to best version of myself.

Happy New Week Everyone ☘️

They say practice makes perfect, and since you are already making some effort, you are not far from perfection.

It's always difficult to cope with something you are not used to. English is dynamic, we can never know it all, the best we can do is keep learning as we find opportunity.

The practice makes the teacher that is a law of life. As you were practicing more and more, you were improving the language. The same happened to me with the pixel art, at first it was something that was challenging and complex to do it, today it is super entertaining and a great passion that relaxes me a lot to do it. But this is because one should always do something you like, surely if it was an activity that I hate, I would not have learned so easily haha.

Growth is constant until you decide to stop learning.
I see your effort in learning and it will pay.
