¡Hola amigos de HIVE!

¿Les gusta salir de su zona de confort? A mí, realmente no me gusta, sin embargo, de vez en cuando hay que intentarlo. Para el post de hoy les traigo algo diferente, hoy estuve haciendo una práctica a lápiz para estudiar la perspectiva, sombras y escenarios que normalmente no me arriesgo a hacer, si han visto mía trabajos anteriores, sabrán que me gusta dibujar rostros y raramente detallo el fondo, pero hoy, ¡Dibujé solo el fondo!, sin ningún personaje en él y tomando como referencia una casa al estilo Ghibli, de la película "Mi vecino Totoro". Acá les dejo un poco del proceso a continuación.

Do you like to step out of your comfort zone? I don't really like it, however, once in a while you have to try it. For today's post I bring you something different, today I was doing a pencil practice to study perspective, shadows and scenery that normally I don't risk to do, if you have seen my previous works, you will know that I like to draw faces and rarely detail the background, but today, I drew only the background, without any character in it and taking as reference a Ghibli style house, from the movie "My neighbor Totoro". Here is a little bit of the process below.

Paso 1 / Step 1
Lo primero fue plasmar lo que serían las líneas de perspectiva para guiarme, una vez analicé la referencia (aunque este paso no salió tan bien porque no tengo mucha experiencia en este tipo de dibujo, aún así, trust the process ;)

The first thing was to draw what would be the perspective lines to guide me, once I analyzed the reference (although this step did not go so well because I do not have much experience in this type of drawing, even so, trust the process ;)

Paso 2 / Step 2
Luego procedí a dibujar la figura de los objetos más grandes y característicos del dibujo, usando las líneas de perspectiva como guía. En esta etapa prácticamente posicioné los elementos básicos.

Then I proceeded to draw the shape of the biggest and most characteristic objects of the drawing, using the perspective lines as a guide. In this stage I practically positioned the basic elements.

Paso 3 / Step 3
Seguí con darle forma a cada objeto, detallando un poco más y dibujando con líneas rectas tratando de seguir con la perspectiva.

I continued with shaping each object, detailing a little more and drawing with straight lines trying to follow the perspective.

Paso 4 / Step 4
Finalmente, añadí detalles y sombras usando trazos simples, y ¡Listo!

Finally, I added details and shadows using simple strokes, and I was done!
