Light Painting | 光绘

Inspired by PhotoFeed’s theme contest Long Exposure Photography, I'm now sharing some of my light painting works.

They were improvised during my travel to Slovenia. That night, I happened to see an audiovisual installation in Ljubljana when strolling in the city. Flashy lights were glimmering along the fences in a courtyard of an old building. The lights' colors and positions were changing constantly. With the soothing music playing, it's so calm and fascinating.

Since I love drawing and painting, I figured it would be fun to paint with those lights. So I set up slow shutter speeds and started to move my camera around aiming at the shifting light sources. A few onlookers there stared at me like I was crazy, haha, probably true: some strange girl dancing around in the dark courtyard waving a strange black gear in the sky...

I'm not certain if I was making art or doing acrobatics at that moment. :D But it's not that easy for sure, as both the light sources and my camera were moving. I was rather exhausted after all the movements and experiments... So please cherish these precious outputs here, and tell me what you think too. :)

今天看到个“长曝光”摄影主题，我想起这些光绘照片。那天晚上，在卢布尔雅那市区瞎逛时，偶然经过一处古老的四合院，里面正巧在搞声光装置秀。一束束灯光交替打在四周的栏杆上，颜色和位置都在不停变换。配合着舒缓低沉的音乐，有种梦幻迷离的效果。

看着听着，我想可以利用那些灯光来“绘制”一些照片，于是调慢快门，举着相机开始在空中移动，追踪那些闪烁光源的同时比划着各种形状。旁边几个陌生人狐疑地盯着我，那眼神仿佛是在看杂技表演XD。想想也对：一个亚洲女生老阿姨突然在光怪陆离的欧洲老院里四处移动，还朝各个方向挥舞着相机，确实有点莫名其妙。然鹅，为了创造艺术，我也顾不了那么多了，绘自己的光，让他们看去吧…… 拍了半天，筋疲力尽啊真是，还要修图，终于得到这些来之不易的光绘~:D
