Baker's Hill Kitchen in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, the Philippines

Hi, Foodies Beehive! Let me take you to Puerto Princesa, Palawan in the Philippines. This time, let's go to Baker's Hill Kitchen.

Baker's Hill is one of the most visited places in Puerto Princesa by tourists. Well, at first, it's a family business with a bakeshop with breads and pastries. Later on, they got a restaurant.

How to go there?

Baker's Hill is accessible by using a tricycle as a public transportation or if you have your own private transportation, you can go there by motorcycle and by car.

So, what did I order?

Pork Ribs with Rice and Salad

I was using an Oppo phone but look at the photo. With nice natural lighting, this is what the photo looks like.

Well, that sure looks appetizing. +

The meat was very tender, it melted into my mouth.

The sauce was sweet and sour, I like it.

Shrimp Sinigang

Oh, look at that big bowl of Shrimp Sinigang Soup. This is a typical Filipino tamarind-based soup with a sour and tangy flavor.

Some of the ingredients included:

• Shrimp - can be pork or beef of your choice
• Tomato
• Eggplant
• Beans
• Okra
• Radish
• Water Spinach

A big bowl of Shrimp Sinigang could be shared by 2-3 people.

There was me looking excited for lunch.

Just looking at this photo here in France is making me hungry. I miss Filipino food. Hehe.

We never ordered that much but this is enough for a good lunch.

I didn't take so many photos because the place was so pristine. I prefer eating our lunch and conversing with a fellow traveler. We were just busy plotting on where to go around Palawan.
