Feeling Pretty with the Cherry Blossoms in Taiwan
Hi, Liketu friends! I still have many photos of the cherry blossoms in Taiwan and want to share them here.
After my photowalk at Yangmingshan National Park, I finally found a good spot of cherry blossoms where I stayed for a a few hours and took many photos with it.
Since I was alone I needed to use the self-timer of my Nikon D5100.
I looked so haggard, no makeup, no filter but I was feeling pretty surrounded by cherry blossoms.
I was sitting on a wall but my FB friends thought I climbed the cherry tree to go up. Hahahha!
The cherry tree was planted near the wall.
So yeah, this was the best spot as I could have my nearest interaction with a sakura flower.
I don't have to grab the flowers near my face what the usual tourists in Japan do when they see the flowers.
I could gently grab the sakura flowers without hurting them. I could gently touch them and smell them, I felt so lucky.
I was having alone time with the cherry tree and I have to say it was one of the best experiences I had.
I was thinking if I came here with friends, many tourists would flock to the same place.
But being alone here, nobody was disturbing my space. No other tourists shoo me away so that they could take my place.
I only left when the sun was almost going down. Too bad I didn't bring any food here to enjoy my solo picnic.
But I went to a night market to enjoy my dinner there.
I got lost going home but being lost in Taipei was so cool because I could easily find an MRT station.
Anyway, every time somebody asked me where to find cherry blossoms in Taiwan, I always say to go to Yangmingshan National Park.
One of the best times of my life and it was the best decision ever to ditch my flight back to the Philippines and extend my stay to Taiwan for the cherry blossoms.
Even though this happened in 2017, I still couldn't get over with it. It felt like just yesterday.
