Mom's Birthday Lunch 2013 at Mesa Restaurant, SM City Cebu

It was September 2013 on my mom's birthday when I treated her for lunch and celebrated it at SM City Cebu.

Going to SM City Cebu was our go-to place especially for Filipinos as there are so many things to do inside the mall.

Experiencing 4D Max Rider

I found out that once a birthday celebrant wanted to avail of the 4D Max Rider, there was a discount or the next ride was free. My sister and I did the 4D Max Rider.

We did the virtual roller coaster while wearing Virtual Reality equipment. It was funny. We took advantage of our mom's birthday. We had fun with our first activity.

Bought a Cake

After the game, we bought a cake from Cakes R' Us.

We got this chocolate cupcake.

Lunch at Mesa Restaurant

Mesa Restaurant is another Filipino restaurant that my mom and my sister always enjoy to go for lunch.

What did we order?

Of course, rice is life.

Beef Bulalo or boiled beef shank soup, damn, looking at this bowl of bulalo makes me hungry. Beef Bulalo consists of cabbage, long green beans, sweet corn, and of course, the tender beef shank. It's always a must for us to order soup even though the weather is hot. Haha.

Grilled Pork, a very typical viand for Filipinos. We love everything grilled meat as long as it is well-marinated and the sauce is savory.

Grilled chicken, is another typical viand meal as well. We love to grill chicken and pork meat with the same marinade sauce.

I am imagining right now to get some unlimited rice meals while I am writing this article for today. Hahaha!

I want to go back to the Philippines just for the food. XD
