let's Start.

To cook Biryani is not a single-stop process, it involves 2,3 steps which I am going to write in detail. Biryani is a Worldwide famous dish and I can guarantee that there will be no person in this world, who is not a lover of this dish. It's one of my favourite dishes.

Ingredients

  • 2 kg Chicken
  • 4 onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 KG tomatoes.
  • Salt ( as per taste )
  • 2 TableSpoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 TeaSpoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 TeaSpoon Cumin Powder
  • 1 TableSpoon Dry Coriander Powder.
  • 1 Cup Yoghurt
  • 10-12 Tamarind.
  • 500 ML oil
  • 1 KG Rice
  • 3-4 Lemon
  • 3-4 potatoes.
  • 1 Bunch of Green Coriander & mint.
  • 1 Packet of Sindhi Biryani Shan Spice
  • 1 Teaspoon Yellow Food Colour.
  • 1 Cup of Green chilli paste.
  • 1 TableSpoon blend of whole spices.

Cooking Procedure

The first step is the Cut the potatoes into cubes shape and put them in a small silver container.

add water to it and keep it for boiling purposes. Boil it for 10-12 minutes.

when the potatoes get boiled properly, remove the water and keep them in the Bowl.

The next step will need three things, tomato paste, green Chilli paste, onions and also oil.

Add oil to the cooking pot. turn on the flame and let the oil get hot.

Now add onions to the cooking pot.

Cook them until they turn brown, we will use half in the cooking process and half the onions later for marinating purposes.

YOu can see me keeping onions to be used later.

Now add tomato paste to the cooking pot and cook it for some time until it gets dissolved properly.

Now bring the Chicken.

Add the chicken to the cooking pot.

Now Grind garlic and ginger in Marble Grinder Bowl.

add their paste to the cooking pot. cook them for 10-15 minutes.

Now bring the spices including salt.

add them to the cooking pot.

Now you need to bring a blend of whole spices as you can see in the picture.

add them to the cooking pot.

now it's time to add green Chilli paste.

Tamarind is one of the main ingredients of this recipe, don't forget it.

add it to the cooking pot.

add yoghurt to the cooking pot.

Now bring the boiled potatoes that were kept aside and add to the cooking pot.

Mix them and cook them for 1 minute.

Now we are moving into the next step, which is the boil the rice.

Cut the lemon and green chilli into the shape shown in the picture.

Add the water into the big container, which will be used to boil the egg. add lemon and green chilli to it. Let it boil for some time.

Now add the rice, make sure to wash the rice properly before boiling them.

Boil them until they soften. Now stain them into the stainer and remove the water.

Now it's time to combine the items we have cooked in steps, this dish is called Sindhi Biryani and also called Layered biryani.

The first layer will be of cooked chicken we cooked in the previous step.

now as a second layer add the boiled rice. after adding boiled rice, now use the fried onion on it.

now add green mint and green coriander along with onions.

now bring the Shan BIryani Masala

Sprinkle it on your layer.

add the yellow food colour to the water and make it paste.

add the paste to your rice layers.

You need to repeat all these steps for every layer you create.

Now cover the cooking pot with wet clothes and steam it for about 20 minutes on low flame.

Here is the final look of your delicious Sindhi Biryani. Eat and enjoy it.

Take Care Everyone.

Wow, that's a whole lot of cooking bro but the outcome was great.

I was salivating while scrolling through the pictures, you picture quality is top notch but still not as great as the food.

I thought biryani was just Jollof rice but there is more to it.

I love Biryani, my favorite is the beef. It is my first time seeing potatoes in biryani though. And the tamarin as well, that should give it a nice flavor.
