Tried Momos For the First time !!!

hey, Lovely members of the @foodiesbeehive community. I hope you all are fine and doing great. 2 days ago I and my wife got a chance to visit This place called Momo's.

My wife has been asking for the past two months that she wants to eat Momos, She is a foodie, but I'm not, I kept on ignoring her for two months, but in the end, she emerged as the winner and I took her to eat momos. Momos is basically a food from Nepal.

Momos are a type of steamed-filled dumpling in Tibetan and Nepali cuisine that is also popular in neighbouring Bhutan and India.

I always thought momos was an Indian food, but I was wrong and corrected by Wikipedia.

We reached the place at 11 p.m., they had indoor as well as outdoor seating, and I preferred to sit outside in the fresh air.

they had this banner to cut off the sitting place from the other place. On the back of this banner, there was some construction going on.

I called the waiter and asked for the menu. He went and brought us the menu.

there were plenty of food options available, but we were there specially to eat momos, so we ordered half a plate of momos.

I asked the waiter, how much it would take the momos to get ready. He said it will take around 20 minutes.

I decided to take a look around.

they had this fan, especially for the people who like to sit outside. Near the fan, there were these plants. They were giving very beautiful looks and were making the place look more beautiful.

there was this artificial grass laid on the ground as carpet.

I continued the stroll around and noticed this street art on the wall. Maybe this street art has to do something with Nepal, I still don't know about it, but it looks attractive to the eyes.

You can see below Momo's Sign, that they had indoor sitting.

While walking I found this counter, from there they were delivering momos. their kitchen was behind this counter. They had this lightening food presentation to attract the customers.

Take a close look at this. Burger, tea and momo's.

They had acquired a very big place in this plaza. Momo's were writing on every side. Marketing at its best.

I saw the waiter coming with our Momos and decided to go back to the sitting place. Have a look at Momo's.

My wife used the sticks to eat it, but I am a pure Desi boy, I use my hands to eat them. They were 5 in numbers and we equally divided between us ;) 2.5 for each.

This was the last picture I took when we were about to leave this place.

Honest Review

I will give this food 7 out of 10, the taste was good. Half a plate of Momo's costs us 450 Rupees. Due to their small size, I find it a little expensive, but not very much. It is worth trying these momos. If you ever visited my city, You should give it a try ;)

Take Care Everyone.
