¡Hola queridos amigos lectores! Espero estén muy bien, como saben, ya estamos a nada de entrar en la época mas hermosa del año y yo estoy muy entusiasmada, por lo que hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes mis historias navideñas favoritas las cuales ya es tradición que las lea durante el mes de Diciembre. Espero sean de su agrado.

I hope you are very well, as you know, we are just about to enter the most beautiful time of the year and I am very excited, so today I would like to share with you my favorite Christmas stories which it is already a tradition that I read them during the month of December. I hope you like them.
Un Cuento de Navidad de Charles Dickens / A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens
Esta historia de Navidad es de mis favoritas, escrita por el escritor inglés Charles Dickens y publicada por primera vez en 1843. Nos narra la historia de Ebenezer Scrooge, un hombre avaro y egoísta el cual no es amable con nadie y odia la Navidad. Durante tres noches seguidas es visitado por los Espíritus de la Navidad pasada, presente y futura los cuales le dan un recorrido por su pasado, su presente, y también le enseñan lo que pasará si el no cambia su actitud con los demás.
This Christmas story is one of my favorites, written by the English writer Charles Dickens and first published in 1843. It tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a greedy and selfish man who is not kind to anyone and hates Christmas. For three nights in a row he is visited by the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future who give him a tour of his past, his present, and also teach him what will happen if he does not change his attitude with others.
Es un libro bastante bueno a pesar de ser corto y también es bastante fácil de leer ya que como tiene menos de 200 páginas puedes leerlo en un solo día, la narrativa del autor es excelente y también el desarrollo de los personajes, es un libro que llama a la reflexión ya que Dickens nos muestra a través de los tres espíritus la gran importancia que hay en ser siempre amable y caritativo con los demás especialmente en la época navideña, y que el ser una persona repugnante y egoísta no deja nada bueno. Es un libro que nunca me canso de leer y siempre me deja un buen sabor de boca. Confieso que las últimas veces que lo he leído ha sido un 25 de Diciembre.
It's a quite good book despite being short and it's also quite easy to read since it has less than 200 pages you can read it in a single day, the author's narrative is excellent and also the development of the characters, it is a book that It calls for reflection since Dickens shows us through the three spirits the great importance of always being kind and charitable to others, especially at Christmas time, and that being a disgusting and selfish person leaves nothing good. It is a book that I never tire of reading and it always leaves a good taste in my mouth. I confess that the last times I have read it has been on December 25.
Como el Grinch robó la Navidad de Dr Seuss / How the Grinch stole Christmas by Dr Seuss
Este es un libro infantil ilustrado bastante hermoso escrito por el escritor y caricaturista Theodor Seuss mejor conocido como Dr Seuss, y publicado en 1957. Aunque es un libro para niños, igual me encanta y lo disfruto mucho, nos habla de una criatura verde peluda y bastante malgeniada que vive en una cueva y odia la Navidad por lo que no le gusta que los Quien (criaturas creadas por Seuss) la celebren, por lo que envidioso planea ir al pueblo y robar absolutamente todas las decoraciones y regalos de todas las casas. Sin embargo descubre que aunque robe todo lo que tenga que ver con la Navidad, esta llega igualmente.
This is a very beautiful illustrated children's book written by the writer and cartoonist Theodor Seuss better known as Dr Seuss, and published in 1957. Although it is a children's book, I still love it and enjoy it very much, it tells us about a furry green creature and pretty bad-tempered who lives in a cave and hates Christmas so she doesn't like the Whos (creatures created by Seuss) to celebrate it, so she envious plans to go to town and steal absolutely all the decorations and gifts from all the houses. However, he discovers that even if he steals everything that has to do with Christmas, it comes anyway.
Desde que era niña recuerdo que era muy fan del Grinch y siempre había querido conseguir el libro, por lo que me puse muy feliz cuando lo compré hace varios años en una librería que había en un centro comercial cerca de mi casa. Es un clásico navideño de la literatura cuya historia me parece muy entretenida y las ilustraciones son realmente hermosas, y confieso que lo que más me gusta es el final el cual no importa cuantas veces lea el libro, siempre me hace llorar ya que es bastante emotivo y nos deja una gran lección ya que al final el Grinch termina celebrando la navidad y siendo aceptado por los Quien, así que deja de ser una criatura solitaria. Es otro libro que me gusta leer después del 25 de Diciembre sin embargo, también me gusta leerlo varias veces durante Diciembre y es uno de mis libros infantiles favoritos.
Since I was a child I remember being a big fan of the Grinch and always wanted to get the book, so I was very happy when I bought it several years ago at a bookstore in a shopping center near my house. It is a Christmas classic of literature whose story seems very entertaining to me and the illustrations are really beautiful, and I confess that what I like the most is the ending, which no matter how many times I read the book, it always makes me cry since it is quite emotional and it leaves us a great lesson since in the end the Grinch ends up celebrating Christmas and being accepted by the Whos, so he stops being a solitary creature. It is another book that I like to read after December 25th however I also like to read it several times during December and it is one of my favorite children's books.
Aunque estos libros son mis favoritos y nunca pueden faltarme en la época navideña, también me gustan mucho otras historias que no leo con la misma constancia pero que también son muy hermosas, como La niña de los fosforos de Hans Christian Andersen y El expreso polar de Chris Van Allsburg los cuales aunque son libros infantiles, también me gustan mucho y no importa cuantas veces los lea nunca me voy a aburrir de leerlas, y hacen mi Navidad mucho más bonita. Me gustaría recomendarselos a todos los amantes de la lectura, les aseguro que los van a amar tanto como yo.
Although these books are my favorites and I can never miss them at Christmas time, I also really like other stories that I don't read with the same constancy but that are also very beautiful, such as The Girl with the Matches by Hans Christian Andersen and The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg which, although they are children's books, I also like a lot and no matter how many times I read them I will never get bored reading them, and they make my Christmas much more beautiful. I would like to recommend them to all reading lovers, I assure you that you will love them as much as I do.

Such great selections this. I think everyone would know this stories, haha. Charles Dickens work is a classic, and the grinch- I saw once as an animated tv show. Lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit already 😅

Siempre he querido leer "Un Cuento de Navidad" de Charles Dickens, he visto todas las adaptaciones cinematográficas pero leer seguramente es una experiencia que va más allá.
Ambos son libros hermosos, de esos que le lees a tu hija antes de ir a dormir en navidad, gracias por traerlos, ahora se que leerle a mi hija en las fechas navideñas <3
